I have also heard that in addition to Auto Crossing being one of the most difficult motorsports there is. a lot of the "pros" (at least NASCAR) come from Karting.

Damn this thread exploded tonight after i walked away for a bit. Too bad the San Berdo thread cant do the same.

he he he, yeah that must be it...

see what happends when I take the auto cross out of the San Berdo MEET thread.... we need something to talk about to keep it alive.

you know its funny we have to make SUB San Berdoo threads because we talk SOOOOO much. we had to start a thread for the calendar, and now a thread for the auto cross. could you immagin how many post and veiws we would be at if the auto cross and the calendar thread were still in the main thread!?!?!?!?

he he he.

So, you looking for a pro ride yet? I'd imagine we'd never hear the end of it if that happened.

I would have to get a job first so I could write that BIG check to get in the door. Last year my buddy Dave spent $50k out of his pocket to road race. This year it should cost him only his entry fees and travel. No way I can get past that first year. Plus no way I can go road race and Jennifer not, so it would cost me twice as much as we would need two cars. Dave offered his 2nd car for Jennifer next year at a "reduced rate" and thought we could turn the RX8 into a T3 car for me but NO way am I spending that kind of money. I am happy to go chase cones on the weekend, not have to work and cars all the time and sit on my *** the rest of the time. We ran some numbers as Dave's sugar daddy wants to take him Pro and it looks like about $500k to start, not going to happen for him or me.

Hey Jasons, could you post your final times (just the 3 runs, not fun runs) so we can post final results like last time. Thanks.

I'm waiting for the official results to come out. We all know ULLLOSE spanked me, no need to repost it here.

true, but it still would be nice to have all the times here in one place so we could refer back to them....?

It is kinda like posting pictures, maybe it will bring more people out if they know we aren't all kicking butt and taken names... But then again, I'm in this for the fun/adrenaline factor. I know I ain't gonna win anything. Just a safer place for me to push my car...

I'm probably going, though I may decide to take a break from autox that weekend (it'll be 3 weekends in a row at that point). You guys should come check out the Pro Solo next weekend. The Isleys and I will be there along with some other 8's. Side by side autox with a drag race start.
