by the way, i have brake faliure!!!!

this morning comming down from chaffey collage, i niticed that the e brake light was on even tough the e brake was down. i was trying to slow down to make a left on lemon when i realized that i wasnt slowing down at all. i ended up just driving streight down haven and the brakes came back one exit later.

guess i gotta rebleed them.

 

I'll do more testing at lunch....I post up another smiley face...hopefully.

 

Seems unusual since we used the brakes very hard on Tuesday. You getting any drips under your car after having it parked over night? I will be checking my bleeder screws again just to make sure they are tight.

 

yeah.. but ive heard a strange noise comming from the rear brakes ever since we bled them. IMO they have been in consistent even at the track. thats why i was braking early. scary stuff man.

 

wasn't there some kind of recall/notice from mazda about brake failure? IIRC there was.

the secret menu on the Nav allows for some weird stuff. I haven't messed with it because I think my firmware is different then yours.

 

tried the secret Nav thing on my way to lunch this afternoon...and I did the up, up, down, down one....it takes you to a screen with a silly little white car, called "wiring check" or something like that. It basically has an indicator for headlights, GPS, Parking brake and reverse lights. Below the car diagram are three/four readouts. One, is a speedometer, another for Voltage, another one measuring speed volts? ...one more, but forgot what it was measuring.

I'll try some of the others on my way home today.
