Just like the name of the thread says. This caters to all RX8 owners from Los Angeles, Orange County, Valley etc area. The date is set for 3/31/07 at 8:45am . The location of the dyno day will be held at:

The cost for each person will be $50. This includes the following:

3 Dyno pulls
1 Printout

Typically it would cost around $75 to do this so this is actually a great deal. Please add your name to the list below if you are interested. There is a total of 25 cars only so there will be no more spots available after that.

BTW, they are using a dynojet ground dyno, so for those that have body kits and are extremly low, there shouldn't be any problem.

Jedi54 and I will be creating a time graph/ sheet for everyone to arrive. This will take all day and I know there will be some of you that are unable to stay the entire duration of the process. If you want to just come and hang out before your scheduled dyno time thats perfectly fine with us.

The first 2 cars will take slightly longer because they'll need to familiarze themselves with the RX-8's. After that, it should be 10-15 minutes for most of the cars.

man, if the hp number mazda give for the auto is correct, i should have around 160 rwhp. of course we know that probably wont happen, so if i dont dyno in at least 140, i am going FI lol.

possibly interested.....what kinda dyno....what are the possible dates that you are thinking? Hopefully, not the second Saturday of March.

I know that most of the SoCal Meets / Drives / AutoCross events are early in the month so what do you guys think of the 24th? That should give us PLENTY of time to get more people and time to clear up our schedules

 

It will be nice to come out and hang with some of the guys i don't see very often...since I haven't made it to an LAX or Socal RX meet in a while.
