hi fuel. in my experience, credit unions (cu)have always had the best auto loan rates- new or used. when i was shopping, i looked at various cu's, costco, eloan, and a variety of other places. but, ultimately my own cu had the best rate. nowadays, many don't have very strict membership requirements. and, u can join by simply opening a savings account. typically, if the rate u find is better than costco or eloan, u r on the right track

I have the RP Supercat. Bought it off a local forum member. It sounds great with the RB exhaust. If anyone remembers, we did a "sound" off between Sopheak and me...he had the full RB setup....compared with my full RB setup, w/the supercat. I believe Cesar has a sound clip/video of this that maybe he could share on his website.????

haha!! I absolutely agree with this...that Evo has the potential to be a MONSTER out there against Keith and Casey.

I hope to get some pics up tonight...

...as for Jessie and his EVO. He will have a slight learning curve driving with AWD and boost...and eventually he will beat us, BUT....he can not participate in the RX8 CUP which is a slight disapointment.

I know Jessie has tried to get an 8 on 2 occasions, just seems that it wasn't in the cards....but it is a difficult pill to swallow, thinking that Jessie would end up with a non-rotory....(Jessie, is there anyway that you could drive in the EVO to the Mazda dealer and doa straight trade for an 8?)....Cause I thought that was the whole idea behind selling the FC, was to get a reliable daily rotor driver....

Erica's first comment upon hearing that Jessie bought an EVO was...."guess we'll need to find a new car for January" (referring to our Rotorlution Calendar).

^^^ ouch... im being replaced already

and i really did/do want an rx8.. but to be honest, ever since i got to drive my friend rons yellow evo... ive had a big place in my heart for that car.... and as keith said.. i went twice to get an rx8, with bad results.. and 0 times for an evo.. and i got one! so im happy w/ the end result......

but im still a rotary guy.. i will be keeping my 88 gxl to remain a rotary faithful...

oh, and ill go take some pic for your viewing pleasure

Normally I'd say 'no' to the lugs but you're not really one to follow 'traditional fashion', I say put them on and lets take a peak.

I would say yes, if they were the standard lugs, but will say definately not with those extended ones you have. Any chance of returning them for a standard set?

all RS's come wingless.... and power windowless, and stereoless....lol... but its the lightest evo made!

and keith.. id agree on the extended lugs for the most part... but due to the offset of the wheels, they will not stick out at all... i think ill try and put them on and see what they look like.. if they look like ***, ill take em off, but if i like em iil keep them on

wow, she's a beauty. congrats jess.

what's odd to me is that mitsubishi makes both the evo and the eclipse...

here's the link to the new evo, in case anyone wants to see: http://www.autoweek.com/apps/pbcs.dl...73272859026419

I like it!!! Low weight, high power.

So what does the EVO weigh? ( dont feel like googling it, so if someone knows off the top of their head . . . )

off the top of my head, I'd say an Evo weighs somewhere in the ballpark of 3219 lbs., where as an 07 RX-8 (grand tourting) probably comes in somewhere around 3045 lbs.
