Once a month meeting near San Bernardino
What?! There's still Drive-In's out there?? NO WAY!!
That's so cool. I remember seeing them all over the place when I was growing up but I never had a chance go to to one before they all disappeard. (in what seemed like over night)
Hmm, not sure if I want to go to the Drive in with some of you though... I'd be afraid of how quickly some of your windows would fog up....

Actually, if you go to the drive-in, you should bring lawn chairs.
The last time I went to the drive-in with a group, we took lawn chairs, parked the cars on the left and right side, and turned up radio.
There are 2 drive-in's in Riverside. The better of the 2 is on Van Buren south of the 91 freeway. The movies play through your radio.
Here's the details from the web.
We should really plan this soon. When does the movie come out?
************************************************** ***********
Riverside (Riverside County) California
Van Buren Drive-in: 951-688-2360
located at 3035 Van Buren Blvd., ½mi s. of {91}
(Van Buren Blvd exit off the {91} Freeway)
Southern California's largest operating Drive-in
has 3 screens (each lit with a double-feature),
and an overall capacity to park up to 1500 cars.
The VanBuren is open year-round and provides
movie audio with FM-stereo radio broadcasts.
Admission: $6/person for ages 10&UP; 9 & under free.
************************************************** ***********
First movie starts at 8:30, and replays around 12:15
Second movie plays once at around 10:30
If someone doesn't want to pay the $6, they can always hide in the trunk.

Most people going live off the 10 freeway. We would be coming from the 91.
Stay tuned to this thread. When we decide on a date and time, it will be here.
