i miss my 8.

i saw a BB today pulling into Quakes' stadium over in rancho. at first i thought it was one a new eclipse because i saw it from a distance, but a second glance, and the defining lines of the rear made me remember my BB.

hey.....does anybody have an MX-6 or '99/'00 jetta lying around they don't need? lol i still want an MT though. don't think i could ever go back to a slowmatic tranny car. besides, an MT is much more fun to drive, despite what kind of car it is

 

hey peoples............ ummmmm....... well....... ummmmm...... I kinda made a boo boo.

I did not realize that I had payed for an auto cross practice for this saturday. I JUST realized that this Saturday is our regular monthly meet at the Pirate City Tattoo parking lot in San Bernardino accross from Pep Boys on E street! .............. I will not be able to make it.... sorry guys. I am sure Jesse will still be there. I hope everyone else still shopws up. I want to see some kick *** pictures.

 

wtf....the thread leader ditching out on a once a month meeting. These things don't come around very often.

Maybe we could do a Crestline run, grab lunch and go down to the speedway. Give a couple of the guys who haven't had the chance, to see the autocross and get some seat time (passenger seat that is).

 

On anther issue...Casey, Denward, Snowfl8k and I put the pulleys and flywheel in last Saturday. Install went well, got all the parts in and out in one day, including the 3 hour break when Casey went down to win a pimped out Nissan Sentra.

Only negative, is that I lost power stearing somehow...and my car is outside of the 50,000 mile warranty. I do have the extended service plan, but have a 100$ deductible. Car is at Puente Hills Mazda this morning...don't know whether it is an electrical connector that we overlooked and didn't plug back in, or whether it was just coincidence that the part went bad at the same time we were in there monkeying around.

 

About what time do these meets last? I'm not sure if i should go or not cuz i have to be somewhere in the afternoon

 

You can come and have breakfast with a couple of us, around 745/800 at the Farmer Boys off the 10FWY and Cherry..then head on over to the tattoo shop for the meet up.


Meet up at 9:00...meet/greet for about an hour, then out to the roads. Should be done by 11:30/12:00 if we do crestline. Stay if you want for lunch, or go with those that decide to go down to the speedway....or take off when you need to.

You can always just come in the morning to say hi, and to check out the other rides/mods.

 

Mez - hope you show up. I of course will not be there but everyone is very friendly and fun to talk to.
