they pretty much let you bing in what you want. it is a very laid back setting. Just no running out into the course, no burn outs, no anoying reving up, no speeding in the parking not, you know... dont be anoying. (I dont think we are going to have to worry about that with this crowd.) and make sure you wear closed toe shoes..... Vipers!


they will be selling lunch there if you wish, or (like we usually do) we all head down the street to carls jr. for lunch.

they will also have soda and water for the drivers. spectators are welcome to "donate" for some soda and water.

for you spectators,(and drivers) make sure you mention at the front gate you are there for the Solo2 autocross.(not the drag racing) after entering the main gate off of cherry, you will drive all the way to the back (as far west as you can go).

 

Well, you saw those interior kit samples...any of those help you out? I think you liked that dark blue carbon fiber one, so maybe something like that...Dark blue outline on dark grey Rotorlution. I think that would look nice....

or, stay with your caliper color and do a red outline on dark grey...

or dark grey with the carbon fiber look Rotorlution (like Cesar has in the center of his)....his has yellow banner.

After having botha banner and an outline...I would recommend going with the outline. I just couldn't see through the banner most of the time, and I got sick of tilting my head to the side to see the traffic lights turn green.

I thought Xrider was trying to be like me...Casey, you gonna bring some small rotorlutions for my stock rims. I'm thinking black would look best. I will probably just pull them off after the event, so don't worry about two tone or anything. Let me know what you have in that prize box of extras you have. I'll throw you a couple of bucks, or a couple of beers in trade...

 

Yah, 31 and 21 (Erica) representing....too bad Circle didn't know earlier, or maybe he could have hooked himself up with a umber plate as well. Is there still enough time to get him one? Circle, if Casey has time, make some time to get the magnet and stuff. It would be great it we all had our badges.

I think Spice boy should do a red outline (like calipers) and a Carbon Fiber insode (like hood) from a distance, it will look like just a red outline, but get up close and the CF stands out. (then he also would not have the problem Cesar and I have with trying to look under trhe solid backround to see lights) my $.02

I've never had to tilt my head to look at a light.
Maybe I'm sitting a lot lower than you guys, but I've never had an issue.
On the plus side, when I drive to work, I drive towards the sun, and when I go home, I drive towards the sun.
My visor use to be down 90% of the time. And at certain parts of the freeway, and had to lean to get the sun blocked by the visor or the rearview mirror.
Now the banner helps a ton in that respect.
The visor is about 1/2 inch lower than the banner, so I don't really use it any more.

lol.....all you guys talking about the banner blocking your guys' view of the street lamps. my limo tint 6in. strip already causes that to happen, especially at night . so i guess it wouldn't be much of an issue for me.

 

Hey xrider it would be great if we go together.. I am free on fridays.. but thursday evening I might be able to come let me know B4 6.00am today {01-11.06} so I can have enough time to get up home to get back here in san diego with my car to meet up with you tomarow......call me 909 376 8915...if you can make it..

 

tomorrow i should be able to make it no problem after 6pm. it would also give me enough time to have my car washed and everything. if it's ok w/casey for friday, i wouldn't be able to make it until 9ish or so cuz of work.

i have already saved your digits on my phone. i'll call you after i get off work around 8:30pm
