he he he he....... Cesar, you might just still beat us.
Keith, by race tires do you mean slicks or just another set of street tires for the track wheels? that would suck you being on new slicks, and me on old worn out ones.
you know Cesar is still going to beat us/me right!?!?!?!? I'm not a very good driver, Vipers can vouch for that.

Thought I should have said "picking up new "race" tires"...but forgot the quotes around "race"....sorry to mislead you guys. Now pull your bunched up panties down now
))))Oh, and I decided against the power coating at this time, but did feel that 200 bucks spent on new tires was a better investment to make the autocross day enjoyable. At the condition of the current stock tires, I would have been sliding around all day and would have to fight to make good times. Now, with almost new tires, at least I won't be too far behind you guys.
I would have loved red rims though..would have been fun.
Oh, can someone call or text Spice Boy...that seemed to work best, as he did text me back last night about his birthdate.

just thought I would share this piece of valuable wisdom that was spread in another thread...it made me laugh, only because I work with this group at my middle school.
oh oh, just saw your Occupation.
I'm scared of possible psycho analysis you might have for some of us...
As I told my attorney, "It's not my fault. I just do whatever the little voices in my head tell me to do."

put up final versions of our calendar here:
https://www.rx8club.com/showthread.p...36#post1182636
I didnt' post the cover as this is still a surprise
I'm hoping to see what other groups have done and hope to see some links to theirs as well. Please don't make it a discussion forum, just go and take a peek. Maybe subscribe to the thread to monitor when things are added. If you want to comment on the calendar, use the thread we started for that.

Any of you guys in this thread going to be there on Sunday? I'm too lazy to make the 1.5 hour drive on both days.

Wow I would love to sit in your car off the line...I keep asking Keith is Vipers car faster then ours and he says yes. Then you got the paint job and it looked faster, but now I guess there is no question about it. Congradulations, don't know all the techo lingo buts sounds great!

another calendar snag....they fixed Cesar's image, but upon inspection of the second proof, they fudged the cover page. 3rd proof up for approval later tonight...damn Kinkos. I'm starting to wonder how far the Fedex curse (since they also own Kinkos) spreads.
lol....
lesper...... yes, my cars faster right now, but not by a whole lot.....and trust me, ill let everyone go w/ me for a spin in my car
xrider......the oil leak is a blown oring inside a rotor housing, so when i do the rebuild, it will solve the leak.....thank god!
kraziekave..... you got me there! tooshay! but my plan is for "reliable horsepower", im not gonna push anything to its limits..that way everything plays nicely w/ each other..... so, hopefully mine will be just as reliable
caribbianspiceboy...... your more than welcome to! id actually prefer the help! shes gonna be one bad mudda fugger!

not bad at all, but still a little big for regular use, here is the same one, that I just made smaller, I kinda figured since there are names on the side, that I dont need names on the pic to. I personally like the names on the side like this, what do you think? I wish I could get it even a little smaller then this, and still have pretty much everything. I just dont want it to get TOOOO small that it is unreadable.
all in all I like it. what do you think?

here is the new "guranteed" entry list for the auto cross.
0) Scotty305 (Scott, FD)
1) speeddemon32 (Casey Brier, RX-8)
2) Kwescott (Keith Wescott, RX-8)
3) Snowfl8k (Erica Rief, RX-8)
4) Cesar (Cesar Alaniz, RX-8)
5) Jilongie (James _____ , FC)
(first and last names for scotty to let the powers at be know our names)
I hope more then that gets in, (I hope more then that tried to get in.) it would be pretty sweet for a bunch of rotaries to get in!.... Toca, did you try?

Just had my "race" tires mounted, man they have a lot of tread on them. I forgot what new tires look like. I asked the guy at Goodyear to quote me a price for those Potenzas, mounted and balanced. 1415.00. I think I did well for 200.00 (cash for tires), 20.00 in gas to drive to Oxnard + 98.00 to have the new tires mounted.
Oh, and to fill in the blank on number three in your list Speed...it's "Rief".
