haven't had a chance to look at it in the sunlight yet. so, i have to withhold comment until i have time to do that.

the right front fender had the most severe scratches- some were very deep and almost like made by a keychain or something. (that was where ray was perched.) these i couldn't completely get out.

the right front bumper had 2 sets of scratches- consistent with where jackson and jason were sitting. the cuts ran perpendicular to the bumper. these mostly came out, though there might still be some visibility depending what angle you look at the car from.

everything shows up on black when it's clean.

 

I'll be back Labor Day weekend. Let's see if some touch up can fix it. Please get the Mazda Brilliant Black touch up beforehand.

 

That reminds me, i gotta get touch up for my car. So hard to find it, i gotta order it. (metro gray)

You guys ever drive through Angeles Crest? I'm planning a drive/hike next, next Saturday, Sept. 5th. morning drive, then hike at Cooper Canyon if you are interested. If not, just join the drive and leave afterwards. Just thought I'd offer, since I never see any RX-8's up there =) There was a huge mustang meet a week or two ago... like, sevenstock huge, lol

Edit: I'm going to do it this saturday morning if the fires are cleared up. ~7am ish meeting in La Canada if interested.
