The official 626 SGV Meet Thread!!!!!!!!!!
Finally we are having a RX8 meet around the 626 area. After the vote from the poll. We decided to meet at AU79 Tea Spirit's Parking lot. The intersection of San Gabriel blvd. and Valley Blvd., We are going to chat, have fun, eat, drink, install some basic mods or even a cruise to somewhere else. We are trying to gather anyone around 626 area to join the meet. Everyone beside Rx8 owners are welcome as well. Bring your Friends, Girl/boyfriend, parents, classmate, neighbors or anyone you want. if anyone have questions or parts that they want, feel free to ask any of us.

Address: 1635 S San Gabriel Blvd, San Gabriel, CA 91775
Time: NEXT MEET --> 3/7/2009 9:30pm to 12:00am (subject to change) Once a week on every Saturday starting from 2/23/2008.
Update: First meet turns out great!!, 9 Rx8 shown up so Far, we had a lot of fun and did some basic mod installation. Pics updated. Every meet, there is about 8-13 Rx8 will be there. Great Time, Please post any different activities that you guys wanted to do.=] we can arrange a little bit. thanks

Damn!!! this sucks. I live in Monterey Park, only a few min away. I'll be in San Fran for a meeting this sat. Hope this meet keeps strong as a weekly thing.

I've seen Sky's red 8 all the time at the ABC cafe plaza, just never seen the guy! BTW, any recommendations for dealerships with cool service departments to go to around here? I hope I don't offend anyone, but the one on Main Street (Alhambra Mazda I think) is horrible.

^^+1. i know a few sales there. but they do suck *****...in a pair! don't talk to...pete? the young short asian guy. filipino maybe... that was my advisor for my first voluntary inspection. he didn't do much for me and pretty much wasted my time...and told me PAINT on my exhaust can void my warranty, wtf? they come wit paint from the factory you idiot (end rant).
anyway, just brought the car in for a funny smell. but many on the forum verified it was normal for new car/exhaust to smell that way. (my first rx8/new car in my life)
anyway...may already have prior promises for this sat meet guys... see you next meet boa, and others. have fun and be save...tell me how it turns out k?

Meet is great Guys, end up with 8 rx8. We are having fun but suck becuz of the rain. We finally went underground parking near Del Mar and valley. Installed some Basic Mod =]...Will post some pics later on..Hope to see more 8 next week

The guys over at Puente Hills Mazda are cool. They don't sweat you if you have after market mods. I'm down off Walnut Grove myself and didn't catch this post till today. I'll be there for sure on Friday at the next meet. Someone PM me or email to remind me haha!

how was ur meet guys? i'm yet to make it out...
since the plans for the sgv are weekly, i plan to make it to the following week after this coming saturday. i have to host again for the lil tokyo meet... and boy, do i miss au79 "green milk tea"!
get some pics up when possible if the rain calms down... love to see what went down.
