These pictures were directly from the camera. I dont have a photo software that would trick out the photos but if you guys want to give it a shot then be my guess and then repost them with the original. That would be sick.

re: the meet tonight. i'm kinda pissed, so i need to vent here. but, let me make it clear that this isn't personal against any of you three guys. i just feel that we as a group need to be more mindful and careful and respectful about how we treat each others' cars.

when i got home i noticed a big web of metallic scratches ALL over my front passenger side fender and bumper- ie exactly where Ray, Jackson, and Jason had been sitting & leaning... @#$@#$!

at the time i did notice you guys were leaning on my car. and, i was actually somewhat annoyed that the 3 of you guys were acting so carelesslessly. clothing has many sharp metallic objects- ie zippers, buttons, chains etc. and any of those items could scratch car paint. i know you didn't mean to do it on purpose. but, still- you guys need to be more careful. honestly, i would never lean or sit on any of you guys' cars, because i wouldn't want to accidentally scratch your cars. so, i find it very surprising that you guys did this to me...

so, i left the meet at 12:30am, got home, parked my car, and looked it over. and, that's when i saw the damage. i then spent another hour trying to buff some of it out. some scratches came out. some did not. oh well. that's life. (my car was just washed, so it was clean and i know the scratches weren't there before.) i left the meet early, because i have a recording sessions tomorrow and needed to get to sleep early. so, not only did this **** me off, but it also wasted an extra hour + of my time tonight..

anyways. what's done is done. i'm very pissed right now. but, i'll get over it. again- nothing against you guys personally. but, please be more careful next time so that this doesn't happen again to any one of us at the meet.

 

well... i did jokingly holler out loud for them not to scratch my car, but of course it is not mine.

but hey, thought you noticed at the time jerry, so that sucks that there are actual metallic rivets on their jeans...

i also have requested some others to not lean on my car if i'm not too sure: if their clothes my damage; if they are a heavy set guy (fat assed); or just leaning on a flat panel...

i guess i'm obviously not that strict... hence the reason u need to show me some detailing tricks to make my **** all purty again.

but damn jerry, we all look at each others cars.nxt time if u aren't sure, we'll just roll up to take a look at the car. my kid got up all fussy yesterday cause u txt me about it after i got home... =(

I think the issue is that even though we're all car guys, we have different values when it comes to what we like about cars. Some guys are pure mechanical, others like to have a clean car, and still others simply like to mod. However, since we all tend to have different values when it comes to our cars, I think the easiest thing to do is to always asks before touching someone else's car. Yes I know I've been guilty of violating that myself as well, but perhaps we should all make an effort.

all i kno is my car is going to magically become a shinnier ride having jerry stand around it.

i think jerry is going to make a new line of clothing for us that replaces our pant pocket with a buffing pad inserts... may just be the new "in" thing.

hehehe...don't steal my idea.

don't trip about wakin up my kid... just had to knock her out with some more milk. so i went to the kitchen and found the biggest and heaviest milk bottle i can find....

I'm not pissed anymore. But, my position is the same. I don't think any of those 3 guys would like the same thing done to their cars. It's a matter of respecting boundaries, respecting other ppl's property, and just being considerate.
