Question OC Clear Guard Installer Rec's??

Hey there! I just ordered some of the clear guard paint protection kits for my new 8, and was wondering if anyone else on here had ordered some and had them professionally installed in the Orange County area. I live in Mission Viejo, but am willing to drive a bit, in order to make sure these look as clean as possible! Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

Hi!
Auto Recon in Irvine is great. Their website: http://autorecon.com/

I've had them do paintless dent repair on my Miata and their work is excellent. Nice guys, too.

Aratinga-- Thanks for the referral! Have you actually had the Clear Guard installed there, or know someone who has? I heard the front bumper kit is especially difficult to install, so I should go to someone who's actually installed one on an RX-8 before.

Also, nice Shiba Inu! I have 2 of them myself (Bali - from Japan, Kava - from San Diego).

I don't have the Clearguard (I wish I did -- I've already got several stone chips in my 8's nose paint). You can call AutoRecon and ask if they've put it on an 8 before, but even if they haven't, I'd trust them to do it. They're VERY meticulous and will make sure it's done correctly.

Good taste in dogs and cars, by the way! :D

I spoke with John @ Clear Guard about this awhile back and he told me of a cetified installer in Orange that was in his database. I ended up not commiting so I never got the installers info. But you could ask John, clearguard@yahoo.com

Thanks for the info, HottRodder!

Actually, John already gave me the names of some installers in Orange County that were in his database, but said he wasn't sure of their experience installing these on RX-8s. I thought I would save some time making a bunch of phone calls and look for a personal recommendation on the boards. (I figure my fellow RX-8rs know best!!)

Thanks again!! -Carrie
