Rodger, are those LEDs controlled by a **** where you can increase/decrease the power output? Or you're just loading up different resistors? I'm pretty sure you're doing the later of the two but never know =P

hmm... have u ever thought of getting a mazsport turbo for ur 8, or is getting a faster car the only consideration?

 

Took my car to the dealer today because 2nd gear grinds. They told me that they think my clutch is bad and that it hurt the transmission. They wanted $600 to inspect the clutch. (this is not covered by mazda) They pull the transmission and find that the clutch is worn out and that they will not cover the clutch or transmission because it is only warrantied for 12,000 miles.

They want $2,100 to fix the transmission and clutch.

 

FYI- the clutch wasn't slipping when I brought it in.

don't feel like dropping 8-9 grand for a turbo kit that will only break me into the 12 second range in the 1/4 (if i'm lucky)and not make much whp. Just not worth it. I'd rather drop 3k in my crx and make it an 11 second POS. hahaha

This just handed to me--

I decided to keep the 8 (hip hip hooray). Me and the wifey test drove the FX and automatically fell in love! We will be picking that up for sure next month, can't wait.

As far as the 8 goes, i'm keeping it and will continue to mod it.
