yah, the X5 is basically for people who want an suv + status symbol at the same time and who don't care about paying thru the nose for it.
the evo is a really nice car, but dont' forget that the 8 has many virtues. for one, 8's are less-common on the road in socal, and they have a very distinct/ unique body style- not to mention the rotary engine. i like being different, so any of those merits alone is enough to make me want to keep mine.

Bryan: I know what you go through everyday, I keep wanting to trade in my 8 for the evo but I keep smacking myself back into reality at the fact that our 8's are so unique on the roads here in socal and plus the years of car payments is always a menacing factor
