new clutch disc, pressure plate, throw out bearing, seals, 1st and 2nd gear, 1st and 2nd syncros, and new flywheel.
total cost is about $2,400.
after arguing for hours with mazda's regional rep they agreed to pay for everything except the clutch and pressure plate.
So they said I owed $1,200 for the clutch job. I argued that I should not be paying for the labor on clutch job because they have to remove clutch to rebuild the transmission anyway. After another hour of arguing they agreed to pay for the labor on the clutch job.
So all I have to pay is the price of the clutch kit, which is about $550.

Selling Audio Link Ipod connector!
I had to give mine up because I got Sirius Radio installed. This one sells for $129.00 elsewhere and it will give you steering wheel and head unit controls. I'm selling mine for $75.00 plus shipping. I'm located in Long Beach, CA. PM if you are interested.
i might be interested, but i'm buying a few things next week for the ride.. =(
great news to hear you got everything fixed and that mazda absorbed most of the cost. they really sound like a bunch of slimey weasels to me... getting good warranty/ cust service shouldn't be this difficult.
