LAX Area Meet (Part II).
Just got my car yesterday
1. new battery
2. got pass seat plastic fixed
3. tire fixed (nail)
4. air bag light & tps light "gone"
5. tranny (checked) I wonder if they really did something to it...
6. motor mounts....I guess I'm going to have to take it in when it gets worse.
I feel better now!

took friday off to take my beamer in for service and to just rest a bit- since i have to work all day today (sat)... the new rotors & brakes feel a lot smoother. have to go back next week to get a new winshield wiper fluid pump. my car's held up pretty well considering it's almost 10 years old... just a bit more rattles now..

because I swapped the fluid out with royal purple syncromesh or max or whatever....
jedi said it should be using 75-90
I have to say that the syncromax was a hell of lot smoother than the 75-90.

wow, i almost traded in the 8 for a evo 9 MR yesterday! haha don't flame me!the key word is almost. like i said earlier, im getting bored of my car as of lately. i guess the next thing to do to it is take it to the next level...deedubb ver. 2.0
yeah, getting an evo is about the only way to get more CF... haha, even the damn roof has CF in it!
Speaking of Evo's....got to go for a Spin in Viper's Evo yesterday...ZOOM ZOOM!

that little test drive in the evo was sick! the guy let me mash on it. AWD is amazing! but im not going to do it.. =( i know im going to regret it..
detrich,
i have no clue why i felt like that, yesterday i was at the pike in long beach and left my car parked outside of chili's (picking up food to go) i stood away from my car just to make it look like it wasn't mine and wow, the reaction an rx8 gets, i almost forgot how it felt.. people were looking at it like it was exotic or something.. sorry didn't mean to sound conceded.

jorge: me too, it would kinda suck being stuck with another 3 years of payments you know. As bad *** as the evo is being without a car payment is even better! With that being said, the wifey is thinking about either getting the FX35 or the new BMW X-5, I really want the FX cause we can get a fully loaded FX vs a step above base model X-5 for our price range..
talk her into the FX. She's not going to need the 'added performance' of the X5 and you two will appreciate the luxuries of the FX a lot better then a close to base X5.
A girl I know has an X5 and it's really not all that nice... I'd take a CX-9 or an FX over it. It's just too pricey for what you get.

make sure the dumbass for a sales guy doesn't put her in a fully loaded X5 for the test drive, otherwise I know what'll happen.
I'm sure the sales guy will throw in the "free scheduled maintenance" sales pitch but ask yourself....how much freakin' maintenance does an X5 really need??? You could do the oil changes yourself or pay some monkey to do it for $25. Don't let that be some huge selling point for you guys.
