I think planning the drive to Valley of Fire should be scheduled at least two weeks out so people have the chance to ask for the time off at work. Most work schedules are done in two week blocks.It should also be one of the larger meets so we can represent the 8 and take a large group picture for the calendar. It is very picturesque out there and we would have a blast. Let's plan on it for 12/01 and meet at the Circle J truck stop on Speedway Blvd. and I-15 at 9:30am. If you don't show you should not be in the calendar... Those are just my two cents....

hey anthony, can u give me a quick rundown on what u do to make it HDR? like is it oversaturation? exposure, i have no idea...ive tried playing with pictures but i just cant figure it out.

 

Hey guys. I have not been online for some time. Looks like I missed the Tue morn drive, But I'm working 2:30.pm-11.pm all week. Then I'm off to SoCal for tranning for my job is sending me. They will be paying for my plane ticket or gas + a rental car.

 

no probs, you have the exposure setting on your camera, well you have to take a series of pic all at different exposure levels, i have 11 levels on my camera so i take 11 pics, then you combine them all on photmatix and play around with the pic until you think it looks good.
You need a tripod to make sure you dont move the camera and set it on self timer too.
What camera do you have

Yeah even if you have a point and shoot like Cannon Nikon Sam, Olmpus ect, you should have the setting(s).

Jordan what you need to look for on your Camara is something that looks like this

The - will make the pic dark and the + will add more contrast.

ahhhh ic, i thought u did all your hdr photos with an editing program. i thought you took the original, 1 perfectly lit picture then just edit it. ill try it next time i take pictures. gracias!!

i use my moms camera, a canon mark 3




and then she has this intense lends for far away shots.
24-70 2.8 lends



yes she has beasty equipment lol. she shoots pics for all of the newspapers in the henderson/summerlin area



i have NO idea how to use it. i just put the camera at the right spot/angle and she pushes the buttons =P

Jordan your camera is something i would love for hdr. I'm sure it has auto bracketing. Have a look in the manual for it and let me know. Kraziflip what color is your car
