If my 8 is running, my plan is to go to Seven Stock. Since Sephyobessed has posted that she will wear a costume that is inappropriate and scandalous I intend to stay up past my bedtime to see that.
shout out to Mike, bad **** R3 you got there
over the last couple of weeks we have had 6 of the V 8's among us. Thats pretty darn cool. Must look awesome when there are 9, 10 12 rotaries rolling into the Fuku meet spot togther it's like we are invading lol. For anyone not sure what the deal is with Fuku it's a gourmet burger truck and imports from around the valley gather there.

Hey guys and gals, how's everyone been? I'd love to go to sevenstock! Unfortunately, my car does not want to start. I've tried deflooding it and it would turn over with the aid of starting fluid and die immediately.
Any suggestions?
My next step is to pop start it. That always worked for me with motorcycles.

Hey!
I've been busy....was gone the entire month of May so I missed WHiV. Got a goofy work schedule so haven't been able to go to any Friday night meets either, unfortunately. I'm over here in Henderspun. Are you thinking it's a fuel pump? Is there a way I can check that? Thanks for all the help. When in doubt, ask the experts, right
How's everyone been doin?

I have my spare fuel pump out on loan so I can't help you if that is the problem. Our fuel pumps are problem children and prone to failure so.....
Anyone going to SS14?

Car is being put back together today. Fricking $12 part kept her from working. At least I don't need a new tranny or clutch. Brandon and I did most of the work but Ben had to use a hydraulic arm to separate the transmission from the engine. And after all that the stupid pilot bearing was the issue. Putting in a new throw out bearing just to be sure.
She'll be back on the road tonight and ready to hit the meets again.

Yeah I really couldn't imagine how another transmission might had gone either considering I had no issues. Trust me, I am glad it is finally the stupid cheap solution. Just kinda sucks that such a tiny part caused the car to be in the garage for so long.
Dealer was great about giving me a new engine and I was around your same mileage. Go to the one up north, they don't give you too much of an issue as long as your car fails compression. They never even asked me for oil change history.
Things you want to have good before you go. Coils, wires, plugs and cat. If those are bad then they will want to change those before they can declare the engine failed. You can do coils, plugs and wires yourself pretty cheap. If your cat is bad you'll need to find a good one. You might be able to borrow a cat for the purpose of the compression check but you'll really want to find one for yourself because you don't want to put a bad cat back on the new engine.
Good luck!

Uh no, it hasn't closed down. Just got my engine a couple of months ago. Courtesy Mazda up north closed, not Centennial. Thanks for reading the response though!
