WHiV is when the show will happen.....It's a rotary show.

Presently the rotary car show will be in the west parking lot of the Orleans Arena on Friday May 20th. (the location could change due to possible rental of the Arena)

I will try and come and at least watch the car show. I still have not had a chance to see anyone in the area, and would love to be able to hear some different exhausts in person.

 

Why just come for the show? Be a part of the whole WHiV4 thing. It's free. Meet peeps from all over the west. Be part of the drive and the parties. There will be peeps of all ages and from Texas, Washington (state), Oregon, Utah, Arizona, California and bunches of locals. Not just for 8s but any rotary vehicle. Make new friends.

 

Well I don't have much extra money at the moment. It may be free to be there but drives are taxing on gas. The Orleans is not very far away from where I live so that's not a huge deal to drive down there. Not much for parties, and the money problem again.

 

Your welcome to take part in any of the events that you feel comfortable with or can afford.

 

The economy is hitting a lot of us including myself...but i'm not worried yet, i still have a job.

 

Lucky you, I cant even find one. Get interviews but then theres like 10+ other people being interviewed for the same job most with more experience than me.

Hopefully my situation will improve by the time whiv comes along and I can make it out to something.

 

my work is going to be hiring some chauffeurs soon...can't promise anything since i'm only a dispatcher (limo company) but if you're hard up, its worth a try.

 

Never done that lol. What company is it, is there any restrictions on people they are hiring like age or anything like that that you know of? I am 25, bI know whats the starting age most companys will hire anyone when they are having to drive, something about insurance. Since I have never drove anything that big they probably would not want to take that risk.

 

I'm not sure on the age, but we have sedans, suv's, and limo's (its omni limousine), generally speaking, the new guys get the sedans for awhile, then move up. I can ask about adding a new face around here, and see what is said if you'd like.

Ask them and see what they say about someone who has never done it before. Another problem I can see is I don't know my way around vegas as good as I should, but I assume they have a GPS in the cars like a taxi does?

 

no, no gps in the car, but we usually show the drives where to go at each casino anyway. I asked, and we arent hiring just yet, but are accepting applications.

 

I'll let you know or PM if were hiring. Probably weekend shift or night shift. I work the day shift.

yup every third Friday is the official Vegas8's meet, every Thursday is the SinCityRotary meets
