Felipe, that wasn't me. I was no where near that spot for the past month. There is another red mazdaspeed 8 in town somewhere. Driven by a pretty hot chick... don't know who she is though. Might have been her. Too bad about the body parts too, they would have looked great!

See you Sat Phil... I need to hit Harbor Freight with Ray first but I will be over to you at some point.

We don't need to purchase a template but some assets. We can go ahead and buy these but I can't promise that I can do the work up any time soon. I know the latest we want this is end of the year and I also know you want it way before that. But truth be told, I am looking more like end of Oct is when I think I can get it to you.

What ya gettin at Harbor Frt.?????? I went there today and purchased that disc break tool and the socket for the fly wheel.

I see what your talking about on the bottle. Something does not look right and I can not place my finger on it but I don't think that one is for me ether. I will look on ebay again but that was a week ago and it may have sold.

Hey Phil, here is the bumper I was talking about:

https://www.rx8club.com/series-i-exterior-appearance-body-kits-27/c-west-creating-new-body-kit-series-i-rx-8-a-190237/page6/

Also, did you check out the racing beat bumper? I looks a lot like the ATH.

(sneaks into Vegas thread hoping no one notices)

I vote for the C-West bumper, it's agressive yet I think it will fit with the overall theme of Phil's car.
The RB is nice but a bit to subtle for the Supercharged little beast.

plus that pricing looks really good.
Wish my Autobahn would have been that much.

You're honorary Vegas Jedi, it's cool. I mention the RB because Phil really liked the ATH but that damn thing is proving impossible to get her state side, trust me... we have been trying for a few months now. Racing Beat is a nice option that stays with the same look.

The C-West I think is perfect for Phil because it's aggressive but with the black death machine look Phil has going, a lot of the overly aggressive accents on the C-West bumper will be made more subtle in the color.

Two questions:
1. Will my 09 fogs fit (looks like they will)
2. Does anyone have one that we know so I can ask about fit? Whoops just noticed that they have not hit the states yet........I guess I will have to go by reputation.

I kinda like it. If the price is right, my 09 fogs will work and it has good fit then I may have another bumper that I purchased up for sale (R-Magic red front bumper). There is just something about the RB that I can't seem to like.....not sure what it is.

As far as I know, only Bumblebee had it ordered. Whether or not it is on his car is an entirely different matter. Contact the C-West distributor directly for info I guess.

Oh and you might find this interesting.

Just please don't get the side skirts or rear bumper, they're tragic.

Phil: I'm not sure on the lights to be honest. I haven't really seen the '09 fogs up close and without ever having seen this bumper in person...

I believe Chun is correct that only one person has ordered it so getting information on it might be a bit tough as it'll all be based on his experience.
With that said, most of these aftermarket Japanese bumpers are fiberglass based (as is my new Autobahn) which means that with a good body shop, they can get the fitment dialed in properly for you as long as they have a decent fiberglass guy.
I know when I test fitted my Autobahn a few months ago, it was about a 9.0 or 9.5 out of 10 with the lone exception being the damn corner lights. There was a slightly larger gap on the driver's side light so I made sure to point that out to the shop and when it came back 2 weeks later, the fitment was EXCEPTIONAL.

I'm always amazed at what a good body shop can do. Unless the fitment is TERRIBLE out of the box, I wouldn't sweat it too much as long as you know a place to take your car and seeing as how you're the Godfather of Vegas, I'm sure that won't be a problem.

I have what I feel is a good body shop.... A lot will depend upon price. Chun, I don't care for the rear bumper especially with all the work I just had done to the wing and bumper. It now looks just like I want it to look. I was considering the side skirts but after taking a long look at them I changed my mind.

C-West website lists the bumper at $750. Thankful you don't like the skirts or back bumper.

That C-West bumper is just begging for a front mount inter-cooler.

Well now I have a Red R-Magic front bumper for sale....I only know of three red 8s in Vegas but thought I would offer it here first. It can be painted any color you would like but right now it is red. I paid $600 plus shipping for it. I want what I paid for it back out of it (less shipping). I will get pics of it this weekend and post them. I'll keep this local for a week before I go on the forum with it. I purchased the bumper from Double Goose on his "part out" sale but when I put it in front of my 8 I decided it was not for me after all.

You order the C-West godfather? Or something else? I'd atleast want to see it in front of my car or even test fit it. If I can get someone interested in my mazdaspeed bumper then maybe I'll take the R-Magic. Or if I end up not wanting my Cobb.

Well, I will be in the Garage on Saturday from 9am until 2pm......Just want to install that mud guard in the wheel well on the drivers side. We will pull out the Rmagic front bumper an see how it fits on Chun's car. If little phil comes over we can do that clutch pedal change out and find out how his cooling is doing. Any one is welcome to come over. PM me for directions if you need them.
