We have a busy time coming up. On May first we are going to have a rotary compression meet at 13Xs home port. A compression check, some soda, dogs and burgers will also be offered.

You need to sign up with 13X as soon as possible to get your time set scheduled. If there are more on the list than time, we will do it again on Sunday at my house. It normally takes about 30 - 45 minutes to complete the test from start to finnish.

 

Happy Bday to the April peeps (me included ) hope everyone is well... can't make meet... things have been hectic... so, when the cloud lifts we shall see.

phil remember what ur friend told about the reason that i'm having a low compression i guess that the alternator is the problems, it's making a weird noise..

 

Oh yea, we figured it was the starter or the battery. The alternator could be a problem cuz it would not charge the battery correctly...... I am gone this weekend. The first and second we are doing compression tests, but I can't see why not changing an alternaor would be out of line. If you can put it off until then we can change it. Keep me apprised.

Talked to Ryan and he tells me that Chun is having another clutch problem........

Hey Felipe, there is a guy on sincity that is selling a working renesis. You might want to check over there in the classified. I didn't know if you were still in the market for an engine.

As for me I am not having a new clutch issue, if Ryan told you that I have no idea where he got that from since I haven't seen him since last I saw any of you. My tranny is still making the same noise it did at the last meet. I haven't figured out so I have just been baby-ing the car, which has improved my gas mileage considerably.

I haven't been around because work life has gone all warp speed on me. Would love to have Kasumi all happy and purring but I have too much other **** to do right now. She's on the back burner.

i really don't know what is the issue with my car, i know that there is something wrong but i don't know what
i should beb buying a new shifter soon cauz when it's scratching when i shift some gear
i guess that a knew one should solve this problem

 

 

felipe, noise from shifting can be a ton of different things. Trust me on this one. you just replaced your clutch but grinding could be from your synchros or other things internal to your transmission. Before you buy a new shifter take out your current one and inspect it. If all looks OK I would think your scratching is from the tranny, not the shifter.

 

I had scratching a while back, well it sounded more like crunching, and I took it to the dealer. Turned out to be synchros and a couple gears were going bad.

 

well i gotta figure out what is the problem.. and i really don't want take i to the dealer cauz well they r not trusted and i just spend 1300 to have the crash fixed and that was a money that i didn't want to spend so i will just keep driving for now

 

 

 

A few days ago I was coming home. I was at a red light when this dude comes flying on the turn lane in front of me slides out and hits the island and ends up facing my driver side door. I dont know if he was trying to make the light or thought he might show off lol but this is the 8. He just got it. Has the dmv tag on it so its not registered yet.
It has tint. Black seat covers with white or silver flames on them and the guy had the "oh **** face!" on

Anyway I see this 8 a lot now. Hope he learns how to drive

 

maybe soon you will see him crashed into a pole heheha jk

i'm kind worried with my tranny, it still scratching but now it's also scratching when i shift into second gear but only on high rpms i don't know if that means that it's not something so serious or not, might be looking into that in a couple weeks
