Dammit, I had to go in to work yesterday and I missed it. I'm so pissed!!! Do you guys think you might have another meet sometime soon? I definitely need to put my new camera to use while I'm here.

We had a great turn out last night for the monthly meet. Sure looked like it should become a regular event - once monthly for the Sin City Rotary and the Vegas 8s to come together.......... I'll have a talk with Ray and see what their feelings are.

dude that sucks. the damage kinda looks like jens when she got rear ended.
if you think you have the plate and a color/make and modle REPORT it asap. put that mfer in prison.
at least it isn't that bad. it didn't touch the rear quarter pannel or the trunk. so at least it will be ONLY a bumper, some bending and exhaust.
if you still have my number let me know if i can help. who knows,
mabey its a sign. time for a body kit and some carbon fiber?
or kevlar if i dare be so brave lmoa

i'm going to my insurance company on monday.. but i probably will have to pay to fix it
yeah the bumper flew off on the freeway i forgot for a moment that i had crash last night

i was thinking about get a mazdaspeed rear bump but it's kind expensive would have another mods that i would do first
i don't know what i really gonna do.. for now wait a little bit to see how things go

tomorrow i will be at phil's installing my tranny on the car.. if anyone could stop by i really would appreciate it.. don't need to work in the car just be around so if i have any questions about something while i'm putting all back on..it would help to not mess anything

I think you can get the socket from www.mazdatrix.com

To tell you the truth, at seven stock I was looking at a 8 that had that bumper and with out quad exhaust its just not doing it.

Lill Phil, look what I found for you on RX-7 Club;

Blown REW longblock. COMPLETE

as the title states. rear rotor is blown. this is for a complete longblock that includes EVERYTHING. mileage is unknown.

block, intake manifolds, turbos, wireing harness, rats nest, fuel rails, injectors, alternator, ps. pump, clutch, and flywheel. im sure i forgot a few things, but you guys get the idea.

motor is located in phoenix az and i would prefer local pickup, but will ship at your expense.

$1000 obo plus shipping.

If anyone is not working today and can offer a little help with reinstalling the tranny in little Phil's car, call him or just come by my house after 9am........I am unable to get under the car with him and he is having a hard time by himself or with a friend that does not know too much about cars. He has to finish today as Nancy and I are going out of town and need to put our unused vehicles in the garage while gone and Phil needs transportation.

I'm sure people have already told you or you know this yourself but take it very easy on that clutch for the first 200 - 500 miles or so I think it is. I dunno what kind of clutch you put in but if its performance and an upgrade from stock you need to do that. People say lots of stop and go traffic with easy shifts and no gunning it, which is gonna suck.

Also I am definitely going to midnight mayhem to watch the drags on the 26th, hopefully get to meet Gil or maybe even someone else there if anyone else is coming. I dont think I will be going til 8pm or so.
