On another note jobs are unbelievably tight around here, I still cant find one. I went down to a gun shop today to apply for a 'magazine loader' job and was talking to others who were applying and some didn't even know what they were applying for at all. They were just there because it was a possible job, that's crazy.
I know that things are very slow but I do see signs of recovery.......The month of Dec. saw only two housing starts and Feb saw 100 starts. It's going to be a long time before it gets like it was because the banks are still not loaning freeley and the Hotels are not going to expand just small remodels and repairs. They are taking bids now on remodels.

Occupancy in the strip hotels is up and if it continues will be just like before the crash in a couple of months.

I forgot what you said you do but my grandson tells me that Direct TV is hiring installers. My neighbor who works for *** tells me that they are hiring phone installers. (Cable company with phones?). Most of the Hotels are rehiring those they laid off but some for just P/T.

I'll check with *** again last time they were only hiring managers but that was a month ago. To install directtv they usually want you to own a truck. All I really have experience doing is working at a pawn shop but I hated that job so much I cant work for another. I just didnt enjoy seeing people at their worst and taking advantage of them. Another problem is I dont really have a credit history, never had a credit card or any of that so my credit score is bad. Most jobs actually check your credit as part of hiring you now which makes no sense to me.

Credit check is a psychological aspect of it. Think about it, most people who have bad credit are deemed irresponsible. So having bad credit is a reflect of how trust is earned. Most places like inside referrals so they can get the inside scoup on the person demenor.

Usually the only jobs that don't care about your credit history are construction jobs and they are the most depressed right now. Yea with no credit history you would have trouble getting a job at most of the Hotels. I was going to mention a maintenance job at an upscale apt. complex but they require a credit check and you must have lived in the valley 5 years. I'll keep my eyes and ears open.

Were you in it when it happened? Hopefully you at least have an idea of what type of car hit you.

that sucks, how bad is it? I came inches away from some dude hitting me a parking lot today.

it happened when i was going back home from the meet
i was in front of fashion show mall.. the guy hit me ran up ind the side walk i tried to follow him but after he run the third red light i gave up. i think i got his plate
the hear bumper could say that it's gone i will need a new one
and the exhaust is bend but it doesn't look hard to fix
maybe it would be easy fix it by myself buyin a new pump and find a shop to fix the exhaust
then go through the insurance since my is just liability and have to wait a a week or more then that for them to fix the car.. i would have to rent a car for the time for that time
i'm thinking what i will do

i paid my car off last year in june.. he probably don't have insurance and he was at least a reeeaally drunk..
i'm just 20 so the diference between the liability and full cover is $250 about it
actually i never went to much places to see the difference..
but like i said probably would be cheaper to fix the car than pay full cover for a year now
my mind is a 20,000 miles/h right now
tomorrow after the clutch i will think about what i'm gonna do about fixing her

You must have a good number of tickets for your insurance to be so much for full coverage.. I pay $150-170ish a month a full coverage & 50k life insurance(all one plan) on an 09. I set my deductable a bit high though. I figure I will only use the insurance if something really bad happens and take care of smaller stuff myself. I am 24, so 1 more year and it gets slightly cheaper. When I had my old car a 99 mercury cougar in colorado I paid almost $90 a month for just liability with geico, so my new plan is a lot better.

Theres more than just age that goes into figuring your insurance cost though so its tough to say. If you live in an area that has a lot of accidents or car thefts you will be paying more than other people.
