AJ, I've got feelers out on this Pettit s/c to see if it becomes available. Don't know if your interested. I did not know there were any in Cali - no idea what's wrong with the engine but it's in the shop for repair.
Hi all,
I want to personally and publically thank AJ and his wife for spending time with my Aunt Anne last Saturday to help her with her computer problems. I really appreciate you helping out. Thanks to Phil too for getting AJ involved. I hear Anne might be showing up at a meet soon
She had a RX-3 back in the day so she's no stranger to rotaries .
Thanks again guys. I owe ya one.

Easy Phil lol, I wouldn't say all that, I told her that Charlie would've had it fixed if he was here physically, it's just hard to do it over the phone. Charlie is a genius and probably knows a lot more than I do.
Thanks for the compliment.

Yes.
. Your supposed to have a business license and a business account to legally cash the check but since it does not say Inc. or any thing about a business our banks are very loose and where ever you have your account just deposit it.
Its Friday!
How long does a compression test take? If I can break away from my duties I'd be down... Phil PM me the directions just in case..
AJ... my wheels?
nothing too special about them... plus the wifey put a nick on one of the rears

. I will PM you as soon as I post this.
Welcome to the real world. Strange as it may be I understand them charging for the test unless it comes back positive and then it's under warranty. I purchased the tool / meter cuz I am not allowed at the dealer and I wish to keep up with mine.
AJ, I like the Axis Wheels you were looking at before more.
A.Mair, if your engine is indeed about to go and the compression test shows that then you won't be charged. If however your engine comes back within spec then you will be charged the diagnosis fee. I'll tell you now, Courtesy will try to talk you out of it and won't do the compression test if you are just complaining about a lack of power. You have to specifically ask for a compression test.
There us also the issue of believing the results that they come back with. You can try to test your compression with Phil so you know what to expect. Of course the dealership won't accept Phil's findings if his are different from theirs.
Courtesy is a serious mix bag where I was outrageously over charged for a clutch and flywheel but they rebuilt for free my old tranny with another one I found online. They also were good enough to tell me that me adding my catback won't negate my engine warranty. They are hard to read.
Good luck.
