We had a small but enthusiastic group that turned out for the Pizza meet. There were two new members there also. Pizza was good, the company was the best. Any ideas for next month? I seem to have lost most of the pix that I took. The new members pix are the main ones I lost.

Hey Gil brought up a good idea for the Tri-state meet which I believe was Phil's original destination...http://www.thepahrumpvalleyspeedway.zoomshare.com/

Let's race, what do you all think?

Felipe: only in fourth gear? tranny oil change might help. check your fuel filter too.

Limp mode? Sounds like a personal problem Felipe.

Bring your car by and I'll check you engine codes. Hurry before tripe A is needed?

Gil, that track is a dirt circle - not in our interest to try that as our set ups are for road courses

Now if we were rich then we could rent this track http://www.springmountainmotorsports.com/track-rental/

You'd have to charge everyone way too much money....... Call if you like the guy was in a hurry and a little short with me. Nice course.

I'll stay on it -

I am looking to get my windows tinted soon, where would you guys recommend to go? I just wanna goto a shop I know will do quality work. I am also considering doing it myself, never done it but I have watched a friend do it and it seemed pretty easy.

Also this might be a strange question but what did you guys pay to register your cars? The dmv told me they go off msrp for when it was new, which confuses me because theres a $10,000 difference in the new price and used price. How can they base it off msrp when I paid that much less because I bought it used a year later? The dmv told me $500 to register and get my plates. Its an 09, I knew it would be alot but damn. I was only paying $70 a year for my 99 before, lol.

Oh and does the las vegas motor speedway have "tuner" drag nights? All I could see on the site was some chevy and mopar nights, but nothing mentioned about just bringing any car to drag. I know the rx8 isnt made for it but I have never done it before and I'd love to be able to go that fast and race legally.

Try tinting it yourself and post pics.

Welcome to Vegas DMV! They go by MSRP price when it was new.

I asked them the same question and he stated that if they did it by the used price then people could scam there way out of paying. ie...

If you bought a new Ferrari for a $1 from a buddy/crooked dealer. Then what would your registration fees be? Does that make sense?

That said, I payed 40 bucks for my registration.

Google "midnight mayheim"

Yea I have done that before, when I bought my first car we said we paid $300 when we paid like $1000, but what most states do is go by the blue book price, thats actually fair.

I dont know if anybody uses 5w20 oil but if you do, I have 1 unopened bottle and also like 2/3rds of another bottle you can have for free. I bought it to top my car off before I changed my oil then decided to go 5w30 so its now just sitting here doing nothing and I lost my receipt so no returning it to the shop.

Dont know when I could give it to someone, but just incase anyone needs it PM me on here.

State of Nevad just raised our fees (their broke) again for the second time in the last three years. In 04 for new cars it was based upon the manufacturers suggested retail price and would be the same for three years running and then was supposed to go down 10% per year until a certain level was reached. When they realized that there was no money the extended the term to 5 years and then reconsidered and raised the % of MSRP and kept the 5 year term. Only AJ does OK cuz he is military.
Yes the LVMS does have Mednight Madness drags

I hope no one is using 5w20 in their rotary. 5w30 is the winter minimum. Some one with an american car can use that oil.

Dirt? no. Phil, THIS is what I'm talking about dhttp://www.exoticsracing.com/

Minature golf + drunk = fun.

xexok, the dmv is a *** raper due to all the jack *** people that move here and dont register there cars. If you get busted its a lot of big *** fines. Plus all the people that come and go every year with out registering there car(s), so the dmv wants to make there or should I say get there money every year before they skip.

So does anyone know of a good place to get tint done? I am probably not gonna do it myself. I've just seen lots of shitty tint jobs and dont wanna be one of the people stuck with one.

I think Seniors get in for free. It's dark in there, that is a good place to molest err... I mean bring tha ladies. It's really small in there. No alcohol there though, it's a dry establishment.

I'd rather go to PT's and drink eat and play pool but that's just me. They used to call me Minnesota Fats. jk btw Gil's a hustler he brought his own stick (it was laced in rhinestones) and chalk (made of crushed elephant man's bones) last time.

You mean the bottle of 5w20? I dont know how dark I wanna go with the tint, if I can get away with limo tint I would consider it. I've had my windows pretty dark before and it kinda sucked at night because you gotta roll em down to see decently, but I love the look of a dark tint.

I am getting my taxes back within the next 15 days, I would be getting the tint done then. Just have the person PM me on here, or if they need a phone# I can give that to you in a PM.

I did not know the place was small but I did see it was inside and not knowing what the weather will be like next month ......................I could look for a bigger place.................is there any interest in Minature Golf? I am trying to keep the cost of these meets down to a minimum and in places that allow minors so evey one can come.
