You should not have to remove the battery wire to re set the ecu/pcm. Get in your car and turn the key to on. Pump the brake peddle as fast as you can till you see the oil gauge move up then down. Thats it.

As for the premix come to the next meet. I keep some in my turnk. I use a small ammount every fill up.

If you come to the next meet, I can remove your cell. Dont mean your going to pass smog lol but hey. Mine comes and goes so meh what ever.

You should not have to buy a new 02 bung unless your trying to fool the ecu/pcm but that wont work. Use the stock one.

About them tracktion controll lights and what not, try this;
Turn your car on. Move the sterring wheel all the way to the left then all the way to the right. Then back to center.
See if that get rid of them.

As for your idle, Only thing I can think of the the 02 sencer is not the stock one so its messing with something. IDK but thats all I can come up with for now till I see your 8 in person.

Jacky heres another method to reset since everyone is throwing methods out there.

Just pull the ROOM fuse out and put it back in. This should reset the ECU, so I have read.


So I installed my Mazsport DR midepipe (broke all the stock bolts right off, cheap pieces of ****) and it is everything PeeTom said it would be, a nice deep tone and more high end (not overbearing or loud) and sounds great with my stock exhaust. It sounds almost stock in the cabin but deep on the outside. Now to find a nice RacingBeat Catback or Tanabe Medallion like PeeTom had for sale and the sound will be complete. Thanks again Phil for the detonation advice.

jacky888, If your exhaust is off set, check the exhaust hangers. There are a few holes where you hook up the cat back right next to the tips behind the exhaust plastic shrouds. Make shure they are both in the same holes. One might be in the up hole one might be back hole and thats might be why the cat back is off center and one tip is on the plastic shroud.

Just recently my tsc/dsc went off flashing because it knew I had a blow out (I had ignored the tpms because of how many times it cried wolf in the past and it was just a little low) and was telling me to slow down by bogging down my car really badly. This could be an indication that something is very wrong with your car. I can see if you have any codes other than the cat CEL. Let me know.

That 02 bung install sounds culprit, how was it running before the 02 bung install? Doesn't the AGP exhaust come with a bung? I got this from the Fluid Motorsports thread...Isn't this the 02 bung?

This is why I work on my own car and have guys from here help me, so at least I know when I effed up.

 

Not true for idle and cruising speed. I got a tutorial of my AFR's from Flashwing.

That is a bung. When removing the sensor it is quite easy to damage it and her cel may be due to damage (or being installed incorrectly). My car will be back tomorrow and if the ScanGauge is not hooked up I can see what the cel says it is.

How about the Map???? Did you find the correct program???

 

Yeah I tried using Adobe Pro which is a $700.00 program and it does not do what we require. The previous software I mentioned is the one that we will need to get it done.

 

For $700.00 they can do without the map. How much and which one again and where do I get it????

i think i got scammed 20 bucks lol, ****** the people wouldnt let me see what they did to the o2 sensor or what ever, and then i get my car and 1hour later it pops back up, and i disc my battery the cel stayed off longer Llol wwow, but i have to check on my exhaust but i gotta find a nice cheap hydraulic jack, any one know what my dsc problem might be? when i turn off traction and dsc, it wont turn back on at all

 

The DSC/TSC works like that after you hold it down for 7 sec it shuts it down permanently, it won't reset until you turn-off your car, then turn it back on.

 

LOL. I just realized I wasn't clear about my statement about the $700.00 software... I already have it , I was trying to save us money by seeing if it would work instead of Mapland. My fault.

Oh, I purchase software all the time for my business and just have a tizzy when I see what it costs. I just thought that you were telling me a map program was $700.00.
I'm putting off buying it until Friday just in case someone I know already has the program or I find a discount disc somewhere.
