i just got my new rig, well i will on thursday and wanna take some moving shots. This will involve sticking suction cups to your car but its all good

 

I have to take my motorhome in for service and they require I stay with it, sorry. Maybe I can see you Friday evening.

Phil you cant meet there anymore. They kick everyone out of the in 'n outs. All but the one on w. blue diamond and las vegas blvd thats where the lvmazdas meet up at and china towns covered parking lot.

I might be able to get a permited meet spot at the Sun Coast or the Gold Coast for a weekley, bi-weekly or monthly meet if there is enough interest. The meeting place would be a back lot for overflow parking at the Sun Coast or the Gold Coast has a side yard the is only used for special occassions. I have a little (very little) juice at those places and may be able to wrangle a spot to have meets. The Orleans may also be an option but a little harder to arrange cuz of the arena. Let me know if there is interest.

Yea Phil the only spot I know of thats ok is to chill out is the in n out on west blue diamond rd and las vegas blvd. But you know me. I got where the crounds are lol

I'm buying a throttle boyd to have ported and polished but really dont want to have it shipped just to have the work done. So anyone know of a porting and polishing shop in town?
I need throttle body porting and polishing let me know asap! thanks

Yea, the owner had a meet with me and told me that I was not welcome at his places of business and if I came for parts come in another car. I have never been back and will never go back to any place he owns. All this because I am modded, wanted a flash and was willing to pay for it.

OK, I'll post one soon and we will get together. Been a while since I have seen most of you. Jeff and Ray will be up in a couple of weeks to do a final tune on my car so if there are any questions about the Cobb AP, nitros or turbos maybe you can get your questions answered.

Not sure I like this new format that the forums is using. The garage section is gone and I can't figure out the new "friends" section and how it works. Oh well the price of being old I guess. Thanks for sending pictures. All of our exhausts are made in fixtures so the chance of the system being welded or assembled incorrectly is slim.



Here are some suggestions. It helps to have someone with you to help.



We recommend loosening all connections from the front to the back including the clamp on the muffler section. This will let the system move in the hangars. Now have someone position the tips evenly on each side. Once it is even tighten the system from front to back. Make sure the tips are far enough out on each side to avoid melting the bumper. You may have to trim a small amount of the plastic on the inside of the triangular trim pieces. Since the rear clamp is a slip fit you can move the tips around and tighten the clamp so the tips are even.



We understand your install shop told you the kit is off slightly. We install many of these and have many other shops doing the same. There is enough adjustment built into each system you can get it to line up correctly without having to cut and weld anything. At most, tapping the bracket with a rubber mallet will align the rear section if the adjustments at the flanges aren’t enough. There is always the possibility a bracket was bent in shipping.
