I have not heard from Anthony or Armin yet about getting together on Friday morning. I'm still game so if it's on let me know where to pick you up or meet you.


Every one should keep the date open for the SoCal meet open and be ready to join in both the meet and the drive the next day, August 8th for the evening meet and August 9th for the morning drive.
This meet is arranged by: Gil for accommodation logistics (for the SoCal people), Armin for Friday night meet and Anthony for the Saturday morning drive and possible brunch. Having a nice turn out could only be a plus for the Vegas group.

 

I had not seen Mike post too much lately and now I know why ........... he's over on a girlie thread and falling in love.

In our screwball town of odd work hours I never know if anyone is off or working and keeping in mind that I can't drive my 8 to far.

Friday is a holiday and most businesses are closed, and a lot of workers have the day off ..... is there any desire to have a meet? Just thought I would ask cuz I have a taste for Pizza and would like to make it a meet. I am open to suggestions on the Pizza parlor and time (earlier the better cuz I'll be hungry).

 

Anthony, I found another set of pics of this rim and it looks better every time - I am reconsidering them. The other picture that I found shows this rim in daylight, twilight and darkness. I guess if Ray comes up with the right price I may jump............

It makes no difference to me on the time - I am off on Friday. You name the time and place and I will be there..........

Oh hell, what time are you two leaving and were can we meet??? I might as well go with you but I'll take my car in case you two want to stay longer. I'm good from 4am on so pick your time. If your not spending a lot of time out there then I'll just pick you up and figure 2 hours of picture taking and another two hours of driving around and be home in plenty of time to do "Honey dos".

I just got to see Anthony's car with his Knight Sports side skirts! Sexy as hell!! I need to stop giving Anthony advice on what to buy because when I see it on his car, it makes me wanna buy it and put it on my car. I gave him some ideas on modifying his rear bumper, if he does what I told him then his car will be perfect + the Knight Sports front bumper. Besides that, Phil I'll post more pictures of the SF Challenge's later tonight or tomorrow. But, I'll see you and Anthony, tomorrow at 4:30AM sharp!

Hello Vegas RX-8 club, my name's Chris, friends call me Koji.

I don't have my RX-8 yet, but I'm starting to save up some money to clear the upside down on my current car so I can finally have one; I hope to one day own a clean VRMica w/ 6spd. manual transmission.

Right now I drive an '04 Acura RSX Type-S. The car is tuned and runs pretty fast, but I think I'm at a point where I don't care about HP so much as I now want an FR layout. I've always been a rotary fan even though I have never owned one, and I grew up in a family with brothers and cousins who owned RX-7s in the past or still currently do. I just decided that I'm going to work toward my goal of finally having a rotary powered car. I see the RX-8 as meeting all my needs as it has 4 seats (which is really convenient in my life), is powered by a rotary motor, looks sharp as hell, and is FR.

I'll be hanging out in this thread periodically to check out what you guys are up to, and maybe I can join in on one of your meets sometime if you guys don't mind having an FF Honda around Lol =D

Anyways like I said, I'm just starting to save up money. I'm about $5k upside down on my RSX, and I have some credit debt I would like to take care of, so it will be a while before I seriously can get into a nice RX-8

Hope we can get into good standing as friends, and maybe I can be familiar with your group early, so that I'm set when the time comes that I can actually reach my goal =D

What a morning, got up at 4:30AM to go hang out with Anthony & Phil.. Went took some pictures, had a nice breakfast and now it's time to go back to bed for a little bit and sleep in until noon.

 

ill be moving out to vegas here shortly. I leave from grand rapids michigan the 19th of july. Kinda nice to see some 8 owners in this region. In grand rapids there arent many. Im in a 05 platinum gray tinted windows and gunmetal seven spokes on 255 40 18 nitto invo's. Ill look u guys up when i get there. Im transfering thru discount tire out there.
