Quick Update: I finally got the new tires mounted on the rims, now I just need to get the damn alignment done. Besides that, I just need a new battery & get my car registered/insured. Also, there is a few minor things I gotta get done, but I'll do that a little later.

The reason of my slacking is because of not having a job, and my unemployment stopped on June 7th. So, I need get back to work as soon as I'm fixing the 8.. I've been looking into the MS kit lately, without the MS spoiler and I think it looks hot! But, I was thinking the MS + painting the hood, rood, and trunk black.





BTW, you're the one slacking!! Have you done any mods since smoking your tail lights?

Hostile.. Good one! But, you're right.. I am single, and don't have a family to feed.. But, once I do start work, I always give half or more of my paycheck to my family for bills or groceries.. I haven't looked for a job yet, just been enjoying my little free time that I have left to party. It seems kind of selfish on my part, but I am still young and just having a good while it lasts. But, once I'm officially done fixing the 8, I'll be going back to work in no time. I never have problems finding jobs, or getting hired. Every job, I ever applied to, I've always been hired.. Never been fired or anything, so I shouldn't have a problem finding a good job. Besides that, I forgot about the emblems that you did and the K&N intake.. But, have you done anything else since then? Are you planing on getting a body kit or anything in the near future? I know, you had a MS kit on the old VR 8.. Would you get the same kit or something else, maybe?

 

^ I've got a few ideas... but nothing solid as of yet. I'd like to get some stuff done before SevenStock... but i dunno... we'll see. My next mod will be.... premix!

 

What are some of the ideas? I can't wait until I start modding my car again, first thing I will do is repaint some of the things on the car. Front bumper, rear bumper, hood, roof, trunk, eyelids and some interior stuff.

 

I want my front bumper so bad. But we're going to orlando in 7 weeks and miami. Armin what job you gonna get it is about time

 

Ok, I have been working with Jorge to get a joint meet started with SoCal. Gill is getting together a good price on rooms for them. I just posted the following on their site:

Dominion (Gill) works at a local non gaming Hotel (kinda a big cheese but will not admit it) called Candlewood Suites and located at 4035 S. Paradise Road (approx Flamingo Road and Paradise). He is in the process of getting us a good price for rooms. He tells me that rooms are available as studios that have one queen bed. This room sleeps one or two for the same price. Then he has one bed room suites that have one queen in the bed room and a hideaway in front room (same price for up to 4). He needs to know how you want the rooms and how many rooms so he can get us a good price. He should have the price set in stone by Friday.

We are thinking of a Friday night meet with all the 8s and then a Saturday morning drive to Red Rock area for the group and maybe a brunch. We intend to leave you alone Saturday evening unless you hook up with some of us for separate get togethers. I will be posting from time to time to keep you guys updated and see what you would like. Jorge is your coordinator in Cali so go to him or post any questions you may have.

How about a little help here. Who can I count on to arrange the Saturday drive to Red Rock and brunch? Hell all you have to do is pick a starting spot, plan the route and find a spot to stop after the drive for brunch. The drive to start at 9 or 10 and end early.

Armin: You offered to help, pick a good spot for a Friday meet. I'm even figuring that we will start later than usual so everyone can make it.

Don't be confused, you are doing Saturday for the SoCal joint meet and will pick the drive spot, meet location, route and a place to have brunch (or lunch). Then you can go to work. I will try and help when ever you request help. I will also twist arms and threaten mayhem and murder to get a good turnout.

It does not have to be RedRock it's your choice of drives and eateries. You may want to do Mt. Charleston, the lake, Red Rock, etc. I will help you if you need it. You will like the SoCal bunch. Jason MX193 went on a run with some of them and had a good time and they treated me very well when I went to SoCal.

its cool phil, thanks for the offer, me and kristal thought it over and were going to do it after our vacation.

So this meet, i was thinking of meeting at the hotel theyre all staying at and driving all the way past the 215 towards lake las vegas and just going straight instead of turning left at lake las vegas going straight.

Its a really nice drive with plenty of photo ops with twists and turns. What do you think?
