Sweet. We just hit 30 people. If we can convince kwes and snow . . and jedi brings the buddy in the miata . . We will have a decent crowd.
Depending on how short/long you want to make the drive, we got some great options.

okay, we are back - We had one blown engine, One stuck in the sand, and 2 tow trucks.

 

The drive was great. We had a bunch of MR2's and at least a few rotaries.

 

we had to ad a couple of the MR's in the pics. And of course we couldnt forget Jedi.

 

so what is the news on the blown engine and stuck cars. who was it and how did it happen?

 

Guy with the blown engine just had a bad engine for a while, it was going to blow soon. (1985 a dub mr2)Just so happened that he was in the first turn of our run when it blew.
The stuck in the sand, well, the passenger needed to take a leak. He pulled over for the guy to go water a bush, and got stuck.( mazda mx-3) All and all not too bad. We had about 20+ cars, so a 10% fail rate aint too bad. ( considering we had a lot of older cars)

 

Our drive was a cruise through the hills you see in the background. Oak trees and creeks.

never been on a multiple car club cruise...were most people cool with that, or was there a lot of posturing like those meets in Tustin with the STi and Evo guys mainly sticking with their groups...?

Actually everyone was pretty cool.
We had a decent turnout. Maybe 20 MR2's and several rotaries, but the drive was great, everyone seemed to be havin a good time and got along well. Good food, bunch of pictures, fun little drive . . . . great way to waiste away a saturday.

 

Yeah once we finally did the drive, I had a good time.

We are in the process of painting my girls car. As soon as it is done, she will want to show it off, so . . . Soon. I am guessing in late February. I will provide all the details at least 2 weeks in advance. It would be great to see you there.
