Poll: Weekly Bay Area Meet

When and where would you all like the weekly Bay Area meet at?

We would start around 7 or 8pm and end whenever you all need to go. If you have another location you would like to present, post it up. Thanks for all the input everyone.

- Jon

Since my schedule is usually screwed, I'm usually available early evening sometime between 5pm and 8pm. I'd like to meet the local guys on the board here. I know I met a few guys here but its been such a long time!

i know the san jose people will be voting dnb, haha. But yeah, i want to do this weekly meet to get to know you folks. I'm hoping that we can get an agreement.

Its looking like union landing is going to become the meeting spot by the polls right now.

I suggest you rotate the venues. That way it's fair for everyone.

For each "region" there will need to be a "regional" host. That way the leader so to speak doesn't have to attend each and every one of them.

Do something in

For Penninsula:
Palo Alto or Mtn View

For South Bay: San Jose or something
In an Out or something maybe on Tully

For East Bay: Milpitas to Union City
KK, or D&B, or Tapioca etc....

If we just make a schedule for each event then people can sign up on a numbered list so we know what's up in terms of heads.

Make a calendar in advance for these events, even if it's not exact date and just the month or week.

i like this idea a lot. But with all this work, we should just do a monthly meet in general so that we all can meet up and its only once a month. It'll be pretty pratical that way. How does this sound to you guys?

If we go to a monthly meet, how is that different from what we have now? I don't care either way.

well once a month sounds good to me, i mean I love yall, but haha but everyweek I don't even see my mom that much.

I like the suggestion of rotating places, we should plan ahead so we can have some idea where meets are going to be.

i feel you on this but heres the deal i guess, theres going to be 2 meets a month. A huge rotary meet and the small 8 meet. If you guys are down to do 2 meets a month, then i'll start planning it out with you guys. I'm down either way, i like the 2 meet a month thing, gets to bring the rotaries together and we can have our own little thing. If you guys like this idea, then lets do it! Lets get this show on the road already. haha

hmmmm... i just feel a 1 vote difference on the day we go to Krispy Kreme isn't convincing... but maybe i'm reading this pole totally wrong because people can vote multiple days... and that's probably what's causing it

Im going to set up a little meet at Union Landing for the month of august. The day is a little uncertain at this time due to the poll results but most likely on a thursday night. If you're interested in going on a thursday night at union landing, let me know.
