The next Bay Area meet will be at "GoKart Racer" at Burlingame like PUR NRG stated. It will be set up for the Saturday, Sept. 16 at around 4pm (Time can be negotiated). Please let me know if the Date and the Time is alright for all of you. If its not, let me know and we can try to work around it. I hope that we can come up with a consensus by next weekend because i'll be calling in next weekend to let them know we're coming. Also, lets start a list on who is going to be able to make it for Sept. 16th. So i can give them an accurate head count. Thanks everyone and hope you can all make it.

The website is here: http://gokartracer.reachlocal.com/co...rv=gokartracer

Personal Note: I really want to try to SuperTrack. Haha, looks so fun.

Super track is only during the week. I think I'm down, but I'll put my name down later just in case something comes up.

I'll have to pass until October. I just had an ACL reconstruction on my left knee (which is why I missed the Hayward meet), and probably won't be able to drive a stick for another month.

Sorry to hear/read about that. I hope everything goes well for you and a quick recovery. If you know anyone from the forums that can give you a ride, don't hesitate to ask! We'll be glad to meet new faces.

I wouldn't bother making a reservation, unless you know they get busy. Better to have people show up, buy tickets and then hang out until it's time to race. 4pm is a little late for me but I might be able to make it.

I can of coarse do it earlier. i didnt want to make it too early and too late, you know? i'm still trying to get the hang of setting up meets that accomodate most people. im sure people wouldnt mind going a little earlier. right guys!? haha, anyways, im really looking forward to meeting the infamous pickachu rx8. you were the first freaking 8 i saw before and after getting mine. let me know what time will accomodate you. Thanks

Jon

Pricing depends on how long you race. For the full race, I believe its around $45-55 depending if you have a license already. You also gotta sit through a 10min class. Its some of the best way to spend your money though. SOOOOO fun.

Goggle for gokart racer and visit their web site. It answers all your questions.

If you really want to see the car in action, go to Monster Park this Sunday afternoon after 3pm. It's the last autocross of the championship season. Bring a motorcycle helmet and you're welcome to ride during one of my runs as well.
