I figure at the very least I'll put something together so Adam and anyone who brings a camera can post pics. That way we don't have to browse through a billion forum pages.
I'm not lying about the cp. Vagina t-shirts tho, I can get something goign w/ Cafepress.
I figured the $100 a year or so that it's going to cost me to run this site is worth the amusement that it'll bring me.
Helluva inside joke tho eh?

Flies
Look at Fry's this 4th of July break. They should have many sales.
By the way, are you going to this Fridays meet? I have Zachs engine cover so would it be possible that I gave it to you if I can't make it Friday to give to Zach?

Warning to everyone: if you're screwing the radiator plug back on while flushing coolant, make sure you don't over tighen it, or it will break (stupid plastic parts).
I'm currently staring at a headless screw thread thats lodged in my radiator with no way of pulling it out, and it's slowly leaking (not badly so, but it's still a leak). Current solution: I have 2 gallons of distilled water sitting in my backseat :P
Anyone have any suggestions on how to deal with this? I had a mechanic suggest that I just permanently seal off the plug and use the radiator hose to drain in the future.
In any case...@^*!^!*&~!!!!!!!

My theory is, if it was put there, then its there for a reason. You can plug it up, but it's plastic, coolant has a strange power to find any leaks and escape from cracks. I don't think there is anything you can use to cap that off. Try to fix it is the best bet. Like Zach said, screw it out and get a replacement! If anything, now's the best time to get a racing radiator!

Haha yeah, the racing radiator crossed my mind already :]
In any case, I just got off the phone with Hayward Mazda and they said they've never seen anything like this. They said there was nothing wrong with sealing off the drain plug and using the hose, and agreed that it would be more effective to use the hose anyways. I'll probably go ahead and try a radiator patch kit. If anything, I can still drill it out another day.
Fortunate Few: I'll snap a photo when I patch it later today.
