That would be cool, earlier the better to avoid the traffic.

Anyone leaving around 10pm to get to SS13 in the morning, save one night hotel cash, avoid the hot sunny day, avoid the traffic..

Yay! I fixed my stereo and climate control. Lesson learned (ok flame away, it's my fault), DON'T go to FRY's electronics to have anything installed....

Lol friendly. Why didn't you do it yourself? I do pretty much everything to my 8 so I know it was done right, and just so I can say I was the one that did it. Not flaming but there is a diy section lol.

I went to the movies instead and figured it's a no brainer to install. I do that to the Honda all the time and takes me an hour to swap stereos so I figured you can't @!#$$!#@ up an RX8 install.

Hi everyone...new member here who is anxious to get his rx8 on the road...

long story short, I got a 2004 automatic from my gf's aunt. She bought it new.
It has 158000 miles on it. All original, never been abused or raced.

The engine died so we just finished installing another one from a 2005 with 32000 miles.

But here's my problem...it won't start. It has the typical symptoms of a flooded engine. It ignites sometimes but just won't start.

At this point I am getting a bit exhausted...and could use some help. Even just moral support would be fine...

Is there any RX8 mobile mechanic available to come over to my house in SF?
Someone with a few spare parts (coil, etc) so we could swap and see where the problem is.

I would be willing to pay the right person to get it running properly.
Otherwise I may have it towed to Rotorsport in Santa Clara as I am running out of patience.

Thanks for any help or suggestion!

Christian
