Thank you kind sir. All money collected from the sale of Ts and raffle tickets is spent to reimburse for purchases, expenses and for the betterment of the event.

If you register for a room at Orleans then no, you do not need to buy a T in advance. If you are using other lodging then I would appreciate the purchase of the T in advance. Purchase of the T is not a prerequisite to attendance but it does help defray the costs for all the other little things that make this event happen every year. If we figure everyone who posts is coming then only half show up we are stuck with costs based upon the projected attendance. If you purchase the T in advance then the majority of those costs are covered. If you purchase a T shirt or use Orleans for your lodging then we can figure that you are really coming and can plan accordingly. We do not receive any income or kick backs on the Hotel rooms but if you register for a room then chances are you are really going to attend and then hopefully buy a T and/or raffle tickets. The Hotel rooms are for our convenience and are what makes Orleans want to have us at their Hotel so the more we get to stay there insures that we get discount rates next year and maybe more.

Thank you to those that are PMing me with their names for the list. Please include your real first name, the real fist name of your passenger and the rotary you are going to bring (RX8 or 1st Gen 7, etc).

I live in the west valley in Surprise and I really need to find some local meets. If anyone knows of some good meets in the Phoenix area your help would be much appreciated plus I wanna find a good performance shop in the area too. What do you guys suggest?? Thanks!

As for performance shops. I wouldn't call BHR a shop, however they do provide some very nice Performance parts they build themselves.

Obviously I am new to an RX8. I've previously owned a 2004 Mitsubishi Ralliart 5 speed and recently a 2007 Mitsubishi Eclipse G's. Any recommendations to car meets in the area? I currently live on the ASU Polytechnic Campus.

There's a weekly car show at the pavilions in Scottsdale that we attend from time to time. There's also a crew from MSF (apparently) that heads up there.

 

Yeah I'm probably going to hit up the pavs again this Saturday for the hate-a-thon. **** was hilarious last time.

The whole point of going is to hate on other cars. Yeah there are some genuinely awesome cars there but after the sun goes down hilarity ensues. You'll have to go to find out haha.

 

Heh. I'm pretty eclectic with my taste in cars. The only cars I really dislike are the pretentious greenie cars like the Prius. The only major US brands I have never owned in my lifetime are the exotic brands, for obvious reasons.
