Since I have been driving down central this week, The light rail shade Awnings don't seem to provide much shade. They look very metro and such, but fail at keeping the future waiting passengers cool.

And theres chicks everywhere in the morning jogging!

You're not the only one that has to get past the mental block of moving. It sucks but also open up diffrent oppertunities.
Good to see you got your act in the wind bub..

Wow Ray, this really spoke to me because I think I know exactly where you are coming from. Granted your roots in MI might be a bit deeper than mine were in Indiana, I found the process of actually moving was much easier than sitting around and thinking about it.

Halfway through college I had no idea what i was going to do with my life (I still don't) or where I was going to live. I had prospects of moving back to NW Indiana but with the black hole that is the town I grew up in I was saved when my best friends moved to Phoenix.

I helped them trek across the country as well as coming to visit several times on vacation. I think I loved the place cause it was so different. I made the decision (jokingly) when I was a Junior in college saying I wanted to move to Phoenix.

I came out here with almost nothing. I sold almost everything I owned at IU. I sold electronics, furniture, and put my car into storage at my parent's house. Everything I had shipped in 5 UPS boxes and the rest in my backpack. I got on a plane and came out here.

A few days later I was the proud owner of a new 05 RX8!

It's scary and when you have more risk riding on it that makes it a little tougher. Still, I grew up in Indiana and knew nothing different and had to come out here with no family and a couple friends to make it on my own. Those friends have since gone back to Indiana but thanks to the wonderful people I know here I have never once thought about leaving.

No doubt it's a daunting task because so much has to happen in such a little period of time. Get the house handled, get the crap packed, find a place to live etc. etc.

You've got plenty of support out here...the AZ side of things will take care of itself. Managing the MI affairs would be the only concern.

You won't be reachable cause we'll all be having so much fun and talking about all the snow we won't be getting this year. Sorry but snow+salt = FAIL.

Good time last night at 83rd Ave, glad to see all the RCCAZ people and the usual suspects from AZMC.

Ray, AZ will be here when you get here. Hell, you've got perfect timing as the weather only gets better from here on out!

One thing I look forward to in my move to AZ is having friends like all of you come to help me celebrate my arrival after I get settled in.
