B&B Catback in stock!

Now instock and ready to ship. We have been working with B&B Performance exhaust to bring you this tue performance exhaust. B&B has a history for producing great sounding exhaust for Porsche, Ferrari, Corvette, and many more! We've seen great power from this unit. Dyno results show a 19h/p increase at 6500rmp -over 12 h/p at 8600rmp and almost 8 lbs of torque as shown on the dyno chart. The system is a 2.5" design that flows into a smaller, high flow muffler, ending in duel 4" tips. Made of 100% stainless steel the system is MIG and TIG welded and fully polished. Also available is the Test pipe which gives an additional 8 h/p to the wheels. This system will have a highly polished finish and priced at $699.99 and the test pipe at $ 250. This is the highest H/P out put on the market currently and is what is being used on our Project RX8.

Catback/ Test pipe combo = $900

Perfect for those who want the most power or are planning to do some "off the street" racing. We have thouroghly tested both pieces together on local road coarses here in Arizona and we are pleased with the results we have seen. More power from 5000rmp to redline, better throttle responce, and once the catback and test pipe get about 1500 or so miles the sound begins to deepen even more to give that aggressive sound. Warning! This test pipe is loud! Great for the track and easy enough to install and remove for each event. Perfect for auto-xers. Comes with a bung for the O2 sensor. For more details on this product please email Huff or give me a call.

don't you need a resonator for the test pipe?

A resinator is something that we're looking into as an option for those who want one. We may have two offerings in the future. It would deepen the sound even more.

Is it louder than the Borla or Greddy (just the cat-back)?

Thanks,
Malcom

Deeper is good. I'm leaning toward your B&B exhaust and test pipe. I just don't want to get harrass by cops here coz of my loud exhaust and discovering I don't have a CAT. We don't have that yearly emission test here so I guess it's good to go CATless.

Thanks,

It's deeper than the Borla and is about the same as the Greddy.

We have the same emissions here. I haven't been harrassed by the cops. There's too many Hondas that have a louder exhaust. :D

I missed out on the end of the month special. Will you be running anymore specials soon? I'm interested in the B&B exhaust w/out the midpipe.

I just wanted to give some props to vivid and the B&B exhaust.
I just went down to buttonwillow yesterday and I must say, with the B&B exhaust installed, my 8 defn felt faster. Especially at high end. And my friend that has always ridden with me said there is defn a stronger pull at the top end. I also installed the K&N drop in and the car felt even smoother.

I just suddenly wanted to thank Mike for helping me out on the exhaust.

And soz people, I am not willing to spend the money on dynoing the car, I prefer to save up that money for more mods. (well, maybe dyno when I have lots of mods..) :D

Bong, how was the fit of the B&B? Did everything go in fairly smooth. I'm ready to get one and just curious as to how easy or difficult the job will be.

like what other people has said, the hardest part was taking the stock exhaust off from the hangers. with a little WD40 it made things easier. Putting on the exhaust was easy. I think the entire process took a little more than an hour.
