Deleted threads after format switch?

Deleted threads after format switch?
I can't find some of my old threads in the "Wheels, Tires, and Suspension" forum when I use the basic search and type in key words of the thread title. In fact, the only way I can retrieve the threads is if I do an advanced search and search by my username. Even when I do an advanced search by thread title, the search yields no results. What am I missing here?

if you started the thread for now just put in your user name and just below that change the box to say "threads started by user" and leave everything else blank. i have teh same issue with one of my threads and found that this way does find it.
