So I was directed from a friend on facebook to look into a tranny he wants to get in the near future to autocross with. I don't autocross really but just a weekend driver and some occasional daily driving. Has anyone heard of these trannys? And I emailed them for pricing, as I do believe they make an rx8 bell housing, so it could be a minor modification to mounts and some wire splicing, but I am just curious if anyone knows any more than I do when it comes to mounting this in an 8. Any help will be appreciated! My other alternative is an s2 tranny but I hate to have an s1 rear end, so I am trying to figure out what to do once I see pricing. I am guessing the holinger will be enough to make me run and hide but I will see

the SG3 is for transverse engine FWD cars, the SG is for front engine-RWD vehicles

in addition to costing $10k+ not including incidentals to make it fit & work properly, it's a racing transmission that is not streetable in any real sense of the word
