overheating issue

Okay here is what is going on.
1.) My 8 overheats, duh.
2.) My heater isn't hot, which it should be unless the thermostat is stuck open right?
3.) It boils out my coolant.
4.) gets even hotter.

What would be the cause of all these symptoms?

Lots of things relate to these symptoms; have you searched the multitude of "overheating" threads?

Could be a few things.... Air in the system, water pump failing, thermostat failing, angered rotary gods... Ect...

Does the radiator get hot or does it stay cool?

I don't know about the radiator, it is behind the condenser, haven't really climbed under there to reach it. As far as other threads, not really read many of them. I am an experienced DIY'r. I did change the radiator about 2 months ago. It has been great until last week. It is getting hot and dripping out of reservoir. I changed the cap a few hours ago and drove around and seems fine for now. Im gonna change out my bottle since my sensor isn't working now also.

Well, I also replaced my engine due to unrelated issue, but yeah I had air in the system I think, but I did also replace the thermostat at the same time.

It might have air in the system, but chances are it has leaked/lost coolant somewhere. You dont just get air in the system unless something else is wrong. First thing you need to do is check your coolant level and check for leaks both visual and pressure test the system (there is a tool for that).

I ha replaced te radiator and didn't burp it. So yes u do just get air in the system, and no I don't have a leak, but I broke open the integrity of the cooling system. If u haven't done any work to the cooling System chances are it isn't because of air. If ther is air then u have a leak.

I have never needed to burp mine. Just run it through one heat up cycle and then top it off is all I ever do.

I would suggest that your need for a new engine was not entirely unrelated.
