I was wondering if anyone here knows the largest size of intercooler i could fit without having to cut any of the body. i was thinking that 28x7X2.5? Can anyone help me with this issue?

I just checked mine, it's 33" endtank-to-endtank (including the entrance tubes), 24" core, 28" overall length, 9" tall, 3" thick.

have they removed the front crash beam for this mounting? it also looks upside down compared to the actual kits configuration.

Yeah, they removed it for that kit.

The current kit is shipped with its location just squeezed in behind the front bar.

Here is what my intercooler fits like. There is absolutely no reason to remove the rebar!!!! My intercooler is 20x9.5x3.5. I think you could fit one that is 28x10x3.5 if you wanted but it would depend on how you were planning on running the piping.

I finally got my intercooler mounted! It's my first ever intercooler install and I'm really happy how it's working out. it's not mounted where I wanted it to go because it's too F*#ken huge I mounted it where it would fit. core size is 610 x 300mm (24"x12"). outlet to outlet it is 955mm (37.5") long.

That cant be stressed enough.... many of you may recall an unfortunant incident with someone dear to the community.....

that crash bar/rebar is there to save your life. does removing it mean a front end collision will certainly kill you, probably not. Do you REALLY want to find out though?!?!

it's made by ARE
I had it modified since with the std straight inlet and outlet it would have been way to long. for a custom FI setup that I'm designing.
