NV Exoticspeed High Flow Cat

Category: Accessories
Price: $275
Private or Vendor Listing: Private Listing
Item Condition: Used

SOLD

For sale Exoticspeed High Flow Cat. $275 shipped. Bolts up no problem to stock headers and stock cat-back, or most aftermarket cat-backs (I had it bolted up to Racing Beat cat-back).

The pipe has about 6k miles on it and was on the car for about a year (I don't drive much). The gaskets that came with it are included. You can see the rear gasket in the picture, and the 3rd picture shows the front gasket still on the flange. It is intact and should be reusable, but I didn't want to pull it off for fear of damaging it. I don't guarantee the gaskets are reusable. They came from Fluid Motorsports.

I am selling it b/c I lost my job shortly after buying it and finally got around to taking it off. Sometimes you just need money...

Who wants it?

In my experience (Racing Beat cat-back), the exhaust got a little louder and lowered in pitch. The pitch definitely did not get higher. It didn't get too much louder though because there is a resonator on the pipe.

I can't say for sure how it will act on a car with a different setup than mine.

I have the exoticspeed R1-T Catback I'm sure it will sound good with it I'll get back to you on saturday afternoon if I don't need to do a major transmission overhaul I will prolly buy this from you

I may need a new clutch kit and release bearing wich would put me over my mods budget for the time being haha

The majority of the time, I didn't have a CEL with this pipe on. Sometimes I did get a CEL, and though I never checked the code to verify, I am pretty sure it came as a result of the pipe.

do u have a vid? ill be glad to take this off your hands on 2 conditions

1) i want to hear it, i really don't want anything raspy so if you have a sound file let me hear it please.

2) does it drone? this will be going into a stock 8, i seldomly carry a new born with me so droning is a huge factor.

other than that you have yourself a deal, pm me your response to my questions and your paypal.

not sure if any exhaust is okay with a newborn in the backseat...this is due to the fumes it produces.
