I bought my girlfriend a Saturn to keep away from my 8

And I bought an Optima Red top today. The thing sits rdiclously low, I had to come up with some spacers so the hold down would work, and cut the side of the battery box so the possitive batt terminal would lay flat.

So, Jeff, I have your battery ready for you when you want it back, and the money I owe you for the gas and Idemitsu. Let me know when I can swing it by. There isn't much going on until SSX....

Us ancient codgers don't mind the four cylinder bikes unmuffled too much (I live next to one), but damn the unmuffled Harley types are pissing me off.

The Yama-hopper is a V-Star 1100- aka cruiser. Big air-cooled, overhead cam V-twin. It's loud a shyt but doesn't "glug" like an HD and leak oil. Harely actually intentionly misfires their motors to make them sound like that. Rather dumb. I'd race any Sporty in my Yamaha and whopp it. I think I do 0-60 in 5.5 or so, the 1/4 in 12.8. I'd like to take it to Speed World and see what I run.

I realize that most of you don't really live near Tucson, but if you guys ever get bored and take a trip out that way, a friend of mine has a band called Alien Jane and they play at a club called The Hut. Their next show is Sep 2nd at 9 pm. <end of shameless plug>

 

I'm from Sierra Vista really. It's about an hour south of tucson. Most people know it as Ft. Huachuca cuz thats the army base the town is connected to. And i just got out of the army and was stationed at Ft. Hood TX, so i moved back home. And yes my RX8 has a 65 shot of nitrous. I seem to be the only one running it dry too with no problems at all.
