I'm bringing a bag of nails to flatten you and Tim's tires. And CW has about 100 extra lbs. then me. I think I can take him.

Easy, he was probably babying the engine. Don't want to stress it in heat.

Yeah, that's the story.

Hey ,, so what does everybody have planned for the weekend of Aug. 11th and 12th. Charles R. Hill will be in town , and I figure we should do something. Maybe a run or just a dinner get together. I like the Dinner Idea as it will be kinda hot then for a drive. Any suggestions?

The 7th is best for me. The 8th I start my new job, but I think it's just orientation day. Not important. If I show up on time, then they'll expect me to do that everyday!

Any Rock Bottom Brewery fans out there? The one at Desert Ridge has a back room just off the dining room for larger parties. There can be a few going on at once so it's not a private room, but it's designed to hold larger groups of folks. Great beer and pretty darned good eats too. Just a thought.

What part of town is he staying in? We can play to his convenience location-wise.

We've got one of those down here, too.
Ray is set up in Casa Grande, IIRC.

Facetious? Apparently, Karl's phone didn't work, so his call to me didn't get through and there was a text message out that didn't get sent to me.
All I got was a stupid voice mail message from my exterminator telling me they are coming tomorrow.
My German is only good enough to get me thrown out of the best bars in Rostock.
My Greek is only useful in restaurants and my Spanish is good for drive-bys at Home Depot.

The Rock Bottom in Arrowhead is only so so. I like the one in down in Jeff's neighborhood (I am having problems spelling Awahtukee. So much for whatever language that is...).

I have had the one at Desert Ridge recommended to me before. Should have been there already!
