The Irvine Spectrum is LITERALLY down the road from SS9. She'll be alright.

Fred, when are you two flying in? XDEEDUBBX and Jedi are right - she could spend all day (and all your money) EASILY in either the Spectrum or South Coast Plaza! Hmmm......shopping AND Seven Stock? I'd think I died and went to heaven!

We'll probably fly in early Friday morning about 9 am or so and leave mid day on Monday. This is what I've been doing the past couple of years.

Oh, so you'll have ALL day Sunday to take her shopping! Seriously, you should head over to Laguna Beach (artsy) or Newport Beach (trendy) and give her a sample of California, since she's never been here. Aren't I helpful?

It would probably be about a good 7 hour drive. Depends on when you hit the Orange County Area. Traffic is always a mess down there!

horrid. Actually when he had the caravan there it took us 13 hrs to get there. But I spent 2hrs in gridlock bumper to bumper traffic, thats how long it took me to get from la to irvine. I spoke with another resident once, and he hold me once it took him 4hrs to go 20 miles.

But without traffic 7hrs is about right.

Fred,

If you can keep your credit cards away from your girl, my wife will be going to South Coast Plaza on SS9 day and might be able to keep her company. HAhahaahah it is my punishment for donating so much to the raffle every year.

She just got a new actuary job so she's making money now. Now she's not sure if she can go since she just started that job. Technically she doesn't have any vacation days for 6 months so we aren't too sure what's going on yet.
