Great news and once again I'll make the yearly pilgrimage.

I do have to ask how are they moving to a bigger and better site by going to MNOA when they've been holding them at MNOA? That's not a move.

Jedi54 06-30-2006 11:41 AM

I think they mean it's moving to the MNAO corporate building off the 5 fwy instead of the MNAO R&D facility on Redhill???

ZoomZoomH 06-30-2006 11:45 AM

I am MAKING IT to SS9, no ifs ands or buts

phee 06-30-2006 12:57 PM

WOOHOOOO!! I'll definitely be there! Maybe even stay up there so we can party a bit more this year. It was tough meeting everyone, then driving back to San Diego halfway through the banquet.

ZoomZoomH, I'm glad to hear you'll be headin' out our way!! We'll get a chance to tip a few beers again!

rotarygod 06-30-2006 01:31 PM

You missed all the fun last year Phee. Of course we were nice enough to call you and let you know it! I've still got your number if it hasn't changed.

phee 06-30-2006 01:57 PM

No number changes, Fred, but I'm thinkin' I'd rather be up there Friday and Saturday night instead of hearing all the fun over the phone!

Tirminyl 06-30-2006 01:59 PM

I would love to go!

so I should fly in Friday then

hmm maybe I'll pick up a Mazda6 from Hertz to keep the Mazda theme going, even in rental car form :ylsuper:

I need to jump on this-- I've marked my calendar. Never been to these types of events --I'm sure it'll be great--also would be great to put faces on the user names.

delrmx01 06-30-2006 05:45 PM

I just realized it's my wife's b-day on that day...hmmm....

I think Fred turned off his logic unit. As mentioned before the Mazda North American Operations site is not the same as the Mazda North American Research and Development site. They are just a couple of miles apart there in Irvine.

I've been to both and there is a difference. They are both easy to spot via Google Earth if you enjoy surfing the globe from space.

murix 06-30-2006 07:13 PM

The parking lot is much larger at MNOA than it is at the R&D site.
