So long story short if one gets lowering springs, it would be wise to get rear shocks as well?

 

you may or may not, in the long run, you will have to eventually as the aftermarket springs do wear the shocks out quicker

 

I was under the impression coilovers were harder on shocks than lowering springs? Is this different on the 8?
Edit: Sorry for the bump. Cant make a thread n have a few questions as im looking to get a new suspension setup.
Edit2:Might as well put them in here. Im looking to get the stance coilovers, their cheapest model or the plus one. Would I need to buy new shocks as well? Not need to but is that recommended? Or do the coilovers replace the shocks. Also I've heard coilovers are really hard to tune and get right.. I would be lowering my 8 about the inch and definetly looking for a stiffer, better ride.. is this true?
