P2070 - No symptons

Was just cruisin along in 6th @ 40mph and the CEL popped up, checked it when I got home and it's the valve stuck open code. I took a look-see on the forums and there's supposed to be a power loss accompanying this code but I haven't noticed any power drop at all.

I'm just a hair under 43k miles now so I'll be taking it in to dealership this week, just wanted to see thoughts on this.

I checked the intake as another thread suggested there might be oil, but it's clean.

SSV stuck open wont cause a power loss.
It causes idle instability.

I don't have that either, aside from the occasional drop when the a/c condenser kicks in

Should I be listening for a noise or something?

Had this problem but cleared itself. I did have idle issue for few seconds when it occurred but that was about it. Can you let me know what the dealer said or possibly does for this problem? Since mine cleared on its own I just didn't bother with it. Thanks

Simple....check the valve if it moves freely then it could be the switch or solenoid....reset and forget if it doesnt recur
