im on Tein S-Tech: 207/145 - Drop = 1.4"/0.7"
is that lowered 2 much?

if so would 265/35/18 work?

TopGear8 05-24-2009 09:23 PM

Rears should be fine, might rub in the front, just add some negative camber.

tbonespeed12 05-24-2009 09:26 PM

is that with the 275's or 265's?

TopGear8 05-24-2009 09:29 PM

That was with 275's, But you still might have rubbing problems. So it might be a good idea to go with 265's. What wheel are you getting anyways?

tbonespeed12 05-24-2009 09:30 PM

http://http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotor...Q5fAccessories that one

so i should be fine with the 265's all around?

TopGear8 05-24-2009 09:35 PM

^The link did not work. And you should be fine as long as you are running some negative camber.

tbonespeed12 05-24-2009 09:51 PM

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/18-XX...Q5fAccessories this should work now.

so that means i have to buy a camber kit?

TopGear8 05-24-2009 10:02 PM

^No it means you take your car to an alignment shop and tell them to align it to your specs..

RXH8TED 05-24-2009 10:46 PM

how well will a 215/45/18 fit on the stock 18" rim for the 8?

sorry i'm a bit of a ditz with tires.

I'm getting a Work Emotions CR-Kai

8.5 won't be concave, you need 9.5" on 18

So what would be a pretty aggressive offset for a set of WORK Miester S1's? I want to keep them in 18", maybe 19 I'm feeling frisky.

My car is pretty low, I know this will require fender rolling. I was thinking something like 18x9.5 at a +22 offset? I want a nice, fat lip.

Now I just need to decide on a color...ugh

18x10 with around that offset would be better, lip length wise

They'll fit, might be better if you get 225.

Easy_E1 has those rims I believe....He has Falken 265 series tires and is lowered on Espril springs and has no rubbing

Work Emotion Cr Kai

Hello!
I'm a new member from Norway. I need some new wheels and I think the Work Emotion Cr Kai in bronze look sexy :)

Will this fit:
Front
18" x 8,5" offset +35
245/40/18

Back:
18" x 9,5" offset +35
275/35/18

any comments on the choices?

Alex

imput1234 05-25-2009 10:36 AM

rear will rub. I would suggest get a roll, and run 9.5 +35 all around

topgear8 just told me that my rear should be fine with my car lowered with the exact same setup on the rear... so who is right?

J8635621 05-26-2009 03:50 PM

Your rears will rub. Roll the rear fenders.

malexander 05-26-2009 10:15 PM

will a 17x10 offset 38 with 275/35/18 fit stock ride height? and how low could you take it down?

Not if he's on S-Techs and has a decent amount of negative camber. With only a .7" drop in the back he will be fine.

You will have trouble with the 18" tires on those rims ;)

The rims will be close...you will likely need a roll in the rear

TeamRX8 05-26-2009 11:20 PM

I think it's time for a "Will You Search?" thread ....

mremm04 05-26-2009 11:27 PM

TopGear8 05-26-2009 11:30 PM

mremm04 05-26-2009 11:39 PM
