imput1234 05-27-2009 12:54 AM

My check engine light came on, does anyone know why?

Ross_Dawg 05-27-2009 01:04 AM

why is there a milky like substance on my dipstick?

rx8alexander 05-27-2009 01:34 AM

Work Emotion

Oki
Work Emotion Cr Kai

Should I order:
18"x8,5" +38 for front (mid taper)

Or go
18"x9,5" +38 all around (deep taper)

Can I use my old 225 tires on the 18"x9,5 for the front? (and mabe change them later with some wider)
And if I have goy it right, 265 will fit for the rear without a roll.. (18x9,5+38)

Ross_Dawg 05-27-2009 01:37 AM

are you lowered?

rx8alexander 05-27-2009 01:54 AM

No, stock. Thinking of keeping it that way to.

Ross_Dawg 05-27-2009 01:58 AM

I highly recommend getting 9.5 all around; however, I dont recomment stretching your 225 tire around a 265 tire rim width

rx8alexander 05-27-2009 02:09 AM

So 18x9,5 +38 on all four wheels.

Should it be
245/40/18 for the front and 265/40/18 for the back or 265 all the way? And will 265 in the front fit without roll?

Don't have work wheels dealers anywhere around her so I'm ordering them from Japan, need to get it right :)

Atilla 05-27-2009 10:07 AM

If you don't plan on dropping 265 will be fine - so will 275. You'll be too high up to rub anything.

megatr0n 05-27-2009 11:36 AM

so much math...aaahhh.

lookin at 19x8.5 +42 all around

245/40 or 35/19? all around

wanting to lower it, either s.techs or eibach

gonna work or no?

Atilla 05-27-2009 11:56 AM

I'm a fan of tall sidewalls for some reason but IMO 35 sidewall should work.

TopGear8 05-27-2009 12:13 PM

Both sidewalls will work, I personally would go with the 245/40

megatr0n 05-27-2009 01:19 PM

thats what i was leaning towards. what about lowering on the above mentioned springs..still gonna work fine?

rx8alexander 05-27-2009 01:34 PM

Thanks!

Then it's Work Emotion Cr Kai - 18x9,5 +38 - all around :) Can't wait.. it's probably going to be a month before I get them though..

With a 19x8.5 +42 you can go as low as you would like with no rubbing problems.

Ross_Dawg 05-27-2009 04:41 PM

thats a hint to go wider ;)

tiltmode43 05-27-2009 06:22 PM

T-Rex - ever try those 255's?

kevinD1226 05-27-2009 09:19 PM

a 20 mm in the front and a 30 mm in the back would be pretty flush.

35 all around would be close

tiltmode43 05-28-2009 01:07 PM

I'm going to try 18x10.5 +12 in the rear this weekend, eek!

TopGear8 05-28-2009 01:27 PM

Man you better have some stiff rear springs so it just doesnt eat through your tire!

tiltmode43 05-28-2009 02:04 PM

Running wheels without potential full stroke is borderline pointless. Need I say more? :naughty:

Ross_Dawg 05-28-2009 02:30 PM

damn tilt that's impressive... take pics
